    How to Write a Birth Announcement
    Contributor
    By eHow Contributing Writer

    ###

    As a new parent, you’re probably eager to share all the details
    about your new baby with your family and friends.

    Difficulty: Easy
    Instructions
    Things You’ll Need:

    * Birth Announcements
    * Baby Scrapbooks
    * Photo Frames
    * Photographers
    * Postage Stamps

    1.
    Step 1

    Write down all the information you want to include. Remember to list the baby’s full name, date and time of birth, and length and weight. Include both parents’ names, and mention the grandparents’ names if you like.

    2.
    Step 2

    Select the type of birth-announcement card you will use. Check with card or stationery stores to see the wide range of choices.

    3.
    Step 3

    Consider purchasing packs of ready-made announcements. Prices begin at about $50 to $75 for 50 cards and envelopes; the price goes up for more expensive paper stock and added embellishments such as stickers or bows.

    4.
    Step 4

    Splurge for custom-printed announcements if you prefer. These can cost about $200 to $250 for 50 cards and envelopes. You can purchase these through copy and print shops and some specialty card stores.

    5.
    Step 5

    Consider shopping online to save time. You can e-mail your information to an online stationer and have the cards printed and shipped to your home. Do a keyword search for ‘birth announcements’ on your favorite search engine to find Internet vendors.

    6.
    Step 6

    Consider having the envelopes shipped to you before the baby is born. This way you can have them preaddressed and ready to go as soon as you provide the information on the cards.

    7.
    Step 7

    Include a photo of the baby with the announcement.

    8.
    Step 8

    *** Type up the announcement information and send it to your local newspaper office.

    9.
    Step 9

    *** Find out if the newspaper will run a photo with the announcement. If you provide one, write the baby’s name and address on the back so it doesn’t get confused with the photo for another baby’s announcement.

    Any act or violence or vandalism against private property in this country will lead to the offenders being prosecuted and tossed in prison.

    That's duly understood sir Truamdogz and I'd never consider it sve the thought however there are a LOT of very irrational folks and many many hurting folks killed innocently by a few crackpots. I've a feeling a lot of folks feel what I wrote. Highly doubtful any would pull the vigilante stuff but somehoe , some way there will have to be a legal way to usurp such a preposterous slap in America's face.

    I do agree with our post:

    It does not matter what a few people may think or want to do as the people who bought that property, now own that property.

    If you wish to do something else with the property in question, you can purchase it from the current owner.

    BUT

    1) I could ill afford the lil abode in which I live at the moment

    2) Could never mount a vigilante militia to blow up some stupid mosque by a person that had the "Audacity of being a Dope" yet he certainly is making waves.

    3) Sadly I feel if this mosque acually gets to the point of breaking ground it would in my mind be a travesty for all Americans

    BTW, havn't read ALL the posts but how would you feel should a mosque be built on such ground?

    FACT CHECK: Yes, Obama was born in the United States
    FACT: All the evidence points to his being born in Honolulu.

    *snip*

    Original has been studied

    On its Web site, FactCheck. org says its representatives saw the original birth certificate and “we can attest to the fact that it is real and three-dimensional ...

    We can assure readers that the certificate does bear a raised seal, and that it’s stamped on the back by Hawaii state registrar Alvin T. Onaka [who uses a signature stamp rather than signing individual birth certificates].”

    FactCheck.org is an independent nonpartisan, (hahaha) nonprofit project of the Annenberg Public Policy Center of the University of Pennsylvania. It monitors the factual accuracy of what is said by major U.S. political players.

    Snopes.com states that the certificate “is consistent with others issued in the same time and place and the embossed seal and signature don’t show through very well on the scanned front image made available on the Internet because they were applied to the back of the original document, not the front.” Snopes.com is a well-respected Web site devoted to confirming or debunking urban legends.

    PolitiFact.com reports that it had a staff member bring in her own Hawaii birth certificate and it was identical in form to Obama’s. PolitiFact is an independent, nonpartisan project of the St. Petersburg Times and Congressional Quarterly.

    The “certification of birth,” also known as a short-form birth certificate, is printed by the state and has enough information to be acceptable to the State Department, FactCheck.org states.

    The scan released by the campaign shows halos around the black text, making some think the text might have been pasted on top of some other image. But FactCheck.org reports that the document itself - and the close-up photos it took - have no such halos.

    FactCheck.org asked the Obama campaign about the date stamp and the blacked-out certificate number. Here is that it reported on its Web site:

    “The certificate is stamped June 2007, because that’s when Hawaii officials produced it for the campaign ..., according to [Obama campaign] spokesperson Shauna Daly. The campaign didn’t release its copy until 2008, after speculation began to appear on the Internet questioning Obama’s citizenship.

    The campaign then rushed to release the document, and the rush is responsible for the blacked-out certificate number. Says Shauna: ‘[We] couldn’t get someone on the phone in Hawaii to tell us whether the number represented some secret information, and we erred on the side of blacking it out. Since then we’ve found out it’s pretty irrelevant for the outside world.’

    The document we looked at did have a certificate number; it is 151 1961 - 010641.”

    Newspaper announcements

    In addition, snopes.com and FactCheck.org found, the two major newspapers in Honolulu, The Advertiser and Star-Bulletin, printed birth announcements in August 1961: “Mr. and Mrs. Barack H. Obama, 6085 Kalanianaole Hwy., son, Aug. 4.”

    It would have been extremely difficult to plant such an item. To guard against false reports and mischief, newspapers - including the Hawaiian papers, according to the Advertiser - use these vital statistics only from official sources, such as the Department of Health.

    So, if Obama was born in Hawaii two years after it became a state, he would automatically be a U.S. citizen - a natural-born U.S. citizen. The 14th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution guarantees citizenship to anyone born in the United States (except children of diplomats or foreign heads of state).

    It is true that the Immigration and Nationality Act of June 27, 1952, stated that “a person born outside the geographical limits of the United States and its outlying possessions of parents one of whom is an alien, and the other a citizen of the United States, who prior to the birth of such person, was physically present in the United States or its outlying possessions for a period or periods totaling not less than ten years, at least five of which were after attaining the age of fourteen years” is a citizen of the United States.

    His Kenyan citizenship

    As a child, Obama held both U.S. and Kenyan citizenship because of his American mother and his Kenyan father. Kenya recognizes dual citizenship for children, but its constitution specifies that by age 23, “Kenyan citizens who possesses citizenship in more than one country automatically lose their Kenyan citizenship unless they formally renounce any non-Kenyan citizenship and swear an oath of allegiance to Kenya,” FactCheck.org reports.

    Obama has neither renounced his U.S. citizenship nor sworn an oath of allegiance to Kenya, so his Kenyan citizenship automatically expired on Aug. 4, 1984, FactCheck.org states.

    FactCheck.org was taken to task by attorney Leo Donofrio because it initially said that Obama’s Kenyan citizenship expired in 1982, on his 21st birthday. In reality, it expired in 1984 because Kenya allows a two-year window to decide and, if no declaration has been made by age 23, the citizenship automatically ends.

    FactCheck.org apologized for the error on its Web site, and also noted that that two-year error makes no difference in the basic birth certificate authenticity argument.

    As PolitiFact.com states, “there is not one shred of evidence to support allegations that the birth certificate that Obama released isn’t authentic.”

    The lack of proof ... now, that’s a fact.

    Time for eminent Imminent domain to kick in, plus IED's etc. I meanrealistically would all the Americans in this great country actually ALLOW this, legally or vigilante?

    Bears repeating, thanks
    So the Islamofacists razed the twin towers and are aiming to build a mosque in the ashes? They’ve been doing similar things for centuries. It’s their way of asserting symbolic dominance over the cultures they conquer.

    That’s the first thing that I thought... That would likely send up a million red flags. It may be a “mysterious” group to the press, but no doubt the FBI and the IRS is probably very familiar with all concerned at this point. Now, if only we could know where the trail has led. I’d bet we’ll never find out...

    Doesn’t mater - he actually ascended into “Paradise”. If it was Heaven, its description is greatly diffferent from the Biblical idea of Heaven.

    ‘Good muslims’ go to a lower level in Paradise from murderous jhadis plus the jihadis get the perk of white rasins. Everything backward sounds hellish to me.
