As we search for answers as to why President Trump and his Transition Team were surveilled in November and December of 2016, and January 2017, we actually can go back to the Patriot Act. After 9-11 Americans were taken advantage of due to their fears of another 9-11 terrorist attack. The lawmakers had us right where they wanted us; thus, the Patriot Act was passed. Little did we know that we would have no privacy ever again. Remember FBI Director James Comey said the other day, “no one has any privacy.” The surveillance of Trump Team is a serious violation...

So much winning How hard a win is this, really? Prevailing over the media is sort of like when you go to the gym and you glance over at the 400-pound guy on the treadmill and think to yourself, “I’m in better shape than him!” Right. You’re Mr. Universe, champ.

Media histronics still influencing no one Was I too harsh on my fellow Americans on Monday? Well, I did qualify my judgment that this is not a serious country when it comes to questions of national security, speculating that the protesters might be more vocal than numerous. And I changed my mind about writing a followup piece titled “Nation of babies demands protection from evil without anyone getting inconvenience or upset.” I thought that was awfully magnanimous of me.

Amazon on Monday unveiled the latest plan to automate American workers out of existence — a futuristic grocery store without any cashiers. High-tech sensors and artificial intelligence are allowing shoppers at the Seattle food market to swipe an app when they enter, then roam the aisles and grab staples like bread and milk, artisanal cheeses and chocolates and ready-made meals. Customers can watch as the items they pluck off the shelves get added to a virtual cart on the app — and subtracted if they put them back — with receipts emailed to them once they leave, according to the...

Trump's branding acumen may have been crucial to his upset victory on Tuesday. From July to September, Gallup asked Americans what they had heard, read, or seen about presidential candidates Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. A few obvious trends emerged in the word clouds published by Gallup in September and formed from 30,000 interviews. .....

Death awaits all of us, but how patiently? To unlock the mystery of when we’re going to die, start with an actuary. Members of this 200-year-old profession who study risk and uncertainty pore over the data of death to estimate length of life. Putting aside the spiritual, that’s crucial information for insurance companies and pension plans, and it’s also helpful for planning retirement, since we need our money to last as long we do. The latest, best guesses for U.S. lifespans come from a study (PDF) released this month by the Society of Actuaries: The average 65-year-old American man should...

Robert Creamer, founder and partner of Democracy Partners, the group behind the organized violence at Trump rallies, as shown in the video by James O’Keefe and Project Veritas, is no ordinary agitator. Creamer, a convicted felon, is arguably the spiritual godfather of ObamaCare and much of the current progressive left agenda. Creamer, along with his wife, Illinois Rep. Jan Schakowsky is no stranger to agitation, violence, and expanding the progressive agenda. As Investor’s Business Daily pointed out in March 5, 2010 editorial regarding protests against House Ways and Means Chairman Dan Rostenkowski over the Medicare Catastrophic Coverage Act of 1988,...

Wikileaks released its third set of John Podesta emails on Tuesday. Wikileaks has released over 5,000 of Podesta’s emails in the last week. Podesta is a top Clinton advisor and confidant. In one email the Clinton team admits Hillary has “begun to hate everyday Americans.” The email is titled “truth.”

These are jes’ plain, ole, ordinary, good-time folks who just want to integrate, become good Americans, work, read something other than their One Book, and fight alongside our variegated forces, for truth, justice, and the American way It’s no secret these alleged murderers (I have to say “alleged”) want to kill us, destroy all other religions, obliterate western civilization, and impose a purported barbarous, primitive, vicious, seventh century tribal rule of Shariah Law upon the civilized world.

“I know no safe depository of the ultimate powers of the society but the people themselves; and if we think them not enlightened enough to exercise their control with a wholesome discretion, the remedy is not to take it from them but to inform their discretion by education. This is the true corrective of abuses of Constitutional power.” –Thomas Jefferson What is wrong with us, America? The answer to that question is, “I am.” We are, each of us, what’s wrong with America. As citizens of the United States we are responsible for what takes place in our country and...

You're a racist, you're a racist, everyone's a racist. Repeating a theme we’ve heard from virtually every Democrat for years, Hillary took some time last night to argue that, sure, cops are a bunch of racists. However, she went a step further because she wants you to know the problem isn’t limited to police officers. According to Hillary, virtually everyone in the country harbors their own secret racist feelings. She calls it exercising “implicit racial bias” and - in Hillary’s mind - you’re all guilty of it. Here’s Hillary, demanding that ask yourself “why am I feeling this way?”

An iconic American company, McDonald’s, has quietly outsourced the jobs of 70 white-collar professionals in Ohio to foreign H-1B workers. The H-1Bs outsourcing in the nation’s heartland showcases the growing corporate effort to use foreign H-1B workers to cut workforces of American white-collar professionals, and it comes after companies have used waves of legal and illegal migrants to slash blue-collar jobs and wages in Ohio and around the country. Also, the 70 Ohio jobs that McDonalds outsourced to lower wage foreign graduates are not Silicon Valley technology and software jobs — they’re white-collar accounting jobs performed by graduates from mainstream...

Another sad roadmarker that shows how many people have lost confidence. 45% of Americans feel that the country is less great than it was vs only 37% who believe that it is just as great. Only 16% believe that it has grown greater. This is one of those numbers that just jumps out at you in communicating the lack of national confidence. There's hardly anyone anymore who believes that we are becoming greater. The best they can do is argue unconvincingly that we're running in place.

'If you’re in the United States, sometimes you can feel lazy and think we’re so big we don’t have to really know anything about other people.' During a townhall meeting in Laos, President Barack Obama called Americans “lazy” multiple times. For one, Obama said Americans’ reluctance to embrace his favored environmental policies is a sign of laziness.

Does President Obama have the guts to call Americans “lazy” to our faces? Or is he more brave to tear us down a half a world away? The president twice called Americans “lazy” today as he addressed a group of young leaders in Laos. “So usually, if you see the environment destroyed, it’s not because that’s necessary for development. It’s usually because we’re being lazy, and we’re not being as creative as we could be about how to do it in a smarter, sustainable way,” Obama said during a town hall meeting.

According to a press release provided to The Daily Caller, Terence Burke, senior vice president of national news, said that “CNN’s cutting-edge development of technology to enhance the way we tell stories is a part of our DNA. A 22-year-old radicalized convert to Islam has been arrested in France over suspicions he was planning to attack American and Russian tourists, legal sources said Thursday. The suspect had gone to the southwestern city of Carcassone “with a view to carrying out a violent act, in particular targeting Americans and Russians,” a judicial source said. A source close to the investigation said the suspect was arrested in possession of a knife and a small mallet. …
