Another sad roadmarker that shows how many people have lost confidence. 45% of Americans feel that the country is less great than it was vs only 37% who believe that it is just as great. Only 16% believe that it has grown greater. This is one of those numbers that just jumps out at you in communicating the lack of national confidence. There's hardly anyone anymore who believes that we are becoming greater. The best they can do is argue unconvincingly that we're running in place.

Running in place facing the wrong way on a down escalator - moving backwards and downhill although trying to look up and forward. Only an idiot or gimmedat person thinks double welfare rolls, double unemployment and double food costs and double rent with lesser jobs is an improvement.

The country is made up of its people. If the country is less great, it means that a greater percentage of the people are less great.
Bull$hit stat. 53% of Americans believe that the US is AS GREAT or Greater.. how about that?
Obama has done everything in his power to neuter the United States of America. Laying it out with all the events involved would lake quite some time but it would prove the point with no degree of uncertainly.
The majority put the current Poser In Chief in office. I seriously doubt those hypocrites are going to admit the premise of the article.
