The Sukhoi SU-35 made a stunning performance at the Paris Air Show 2013. There were a few maneuvers I have never seen before and sometimes this skilled pilot made it very difficult for me to follow the plane. Usually I am only filming civilian planes but the performance of this SU-35 was so impressive so that I had to upload the footage.

When there is a wall of flame and thick billowing smoke at an air show it is sadly the sign of a tragedy. But for spectators at a display in America it was the chance to cheer and remember one of the most important days in their history. As a P-40 Kittyhawk fighter flew low at low level it was the start of a spectacular re-enactment of the attack on Pearl Harbor by the Japanese Navy in 1941. The skies above Oshkosh in Wisconsin were filled with dueling fighter planes as the aerial battles from the Day of Infamy were...

FAA Administrator Will Not Be Attending The Show FAA Administrator Michael Huerta will not be attending Oshkosh this year. And while he had a previous family engagement made months in advance, it is at the very least unfortunate timing given the ultimatum handed to EAA over air traffic control services for the show.

CINCINNATI (AP) -- A popular southwest Ohio air show has canceled plans to stage a re-enactment of the devastating World War II atomic bomb attack on Japan after protests, officials said Thursday. Dayton Air Show spokeswoman Brenda Kerfoot said the June 22-23 event at Dayton International Airport will keep a planned "Great Wall of Fire" pyrotechnic show but not as an event meant to re-enact the Aug. 6, 1945, bombing of Hiroshima. The B-29 plane "Fifi," similar to the Enola Gay B-29 bomber used to attack Japan, will remain in the show but in a separate role. Air show officials...

For the first time since 1971, there will be no air show at Offutt Air Force Base this year. Base officials announced Wednesday that because of operating budget uncertainties tied to the federal budget sequestration, the show and open house scheduled for Aug. 24-25 have been canceled. “The Department of Defense and the Air Force are facing difficult fiscal challenges, which requires us to make some tough decisions here at Offutt,'' said Col. John Rauch, commander of Offutt's 55th Wing. “One of these tough decisions includes cancelling this year's air show.''

BRUNSWICK — A number of activist groups protested the Great State of Maine Air Show on Saturday. Veterans for Peace was one of the groups that protested the air show of war planes at Brunswick Landing. Along with the negative environmental effects, the group said events like these glorify war. According to the group, Thunderbird airplanes drop bombs and kill people. Group members said these planes should not be used to entertain. Veterans for Peace member Bruce Gagnon said, "... We believe that these air shows basically are recruiting with gimmicks and recruit our children in to these endless...

The Marines will storm Burke Lakefront Airport June 16 and 17, using some of the military's newest tactics and equipment. You'll get to watch, but get there early. Japan has since become allied with most other Asian nations. It is now China which is the behemoth others are eyeing with unease. And bigger defense budgets, means sales of fighters, weapons and other tools of death and destruction are higher than ever before. At the Singapore Airshow, salesmen in business suits escorted...
