After the TCU-WVU football game, I made the mistake of leaving the TV on, and the news (ABC 7 KGO in San Francisco) came on. The lead story was on a capsizing of a sport crab-fishing boat in the San Francisco Bay. (You can read about the actual story here.) The TV report had testimonials from both a US Coast Guard captain, and an officer in the Bodega Bay Fire Department. And, how did KGO ABC-7 "News" decide to label them on-screen? By using the flag of the mass-murdering, beheading, crucifying ISIS terrorist group. Witness the pictures below.

Just how far kooky left does a Democrat candidate have to go before ABC News will cease hyping him or her? Apparently so far left that we can't even imagine. Writing articles for a far left socialist website or posting a profile photo of a former chairwoman of the Communist Party USA on your Facebook page is still not kooky enough to deter Benjamin Siegel of ABC News from writing an adulatory article about just such a person, the Montana Moonbat herself, Democrat Senate candidate Amanda Curtis. Here is Siegel gushing over her in a way that you just know...

Fore left! Q. Is there any news professional who doesn't know that, out of respect for military families, President George W. Bush gave up golf not long after the Iraq war started? A. Yes. Dan Harris, weekend Good Morning America co-host. Harris' ignorance—or intentional disregard of the facts—was displayed during a segment today's GMA after Jonathan Karl reported that President Obama hit the links within an hour of landing at Martha's Vineyard and just hours after making a statement about US attacks on ISIS forces. After Karl said that Woodrow Wilson, in office during WWI, had played more golf than...

Three reporters for a food safety publication have been subpoenaed in the $1.2 billion defamation lawsuit against ABC related to the network’s coverage of a meat product derided as “pink slime.” […] Beef Products Inc. sued ABC in 2012 alleging that its reports led to plant closures and layoffs because it misled consumers into believing the product was unsafe. …

Attorney General Eric Holder once again played the race card -- this time on national television, in an interview on ABC's "This Week," claiming that he and President Obama have been targets of "a racial animus" by some of the administration's political opponents. "There's a certain level of vehemence, it seems to me, that's directed at me (and) directed at the president," said Holder. "You know, people talk about taking their country back. ... There's a certain racial component to this for some people. I don't think this is the thing that is a main driver, but for some, there's...

UPDATED: Muir will take over Sept. 2, while George Stephanopoulos becomes chief anchor at ABC News. After five years in the World News anchor chair, Diane Sawyer will step down at the end of the summer, clearing the way for David Muir, who anchors the program's weekend edition, to assume her role on Sept. 2. Sawyer, 68, an ABC News star who previously anchored Good Morning America and newsmagazine Primetime and who has conducted some of the news division's most-watched interviews, will head her own unit and continue to produce and anchor specials. Additionally, George Stephanopoulos, once thought to be...

These emails were not about Benghazi.... Wow. So, we now have the official story. The formerly redacted emails released yesterday were not about Benghazi. They were never intended to shed light on the consulate attack. They were simply about "the broader situation in the middle east." We learned this yesterday, when ABC News' Jon Karl went to war with Press Secretary Jay Carney. Keep in mind, that's an ABC News reporter. Like Ron Fournier before him, leftist progs can't label him a right wing hack, and they can't start yapping about FOX News. Every network news outlet was lied to,...

When it comes to running for president – at least at this early stage – a famous name sure helps. So it is in the latest ABC News/Washington Post poll, in which some of the most recognizable potential candidates – Rand Paul, Mike Huckabee, Jeb Bush and Paul Ryan – lead a crowded 2016 Republican field, albeit none with anything near a clear advantage. Moving on to a hypothetical matchup between Bush and Hillary Clinton, the Democrat leads, boosted by a huge gender gap and with a more popular clan, as well. Sixty-six percent of Americans express a favorable view...

Oklahoma plans to hold its first double execution in nearly 80 years, Gov. Mary Fallin said Thursday. The move comes a day after the state Supreme Court removed one of the final obstacles, ruling late Wednesday that Clayton Lockett and Charles Warner are not entitled to know the source of the drugs that will be used to kill them. The inmates had sought that information through a civil lawsuit. "The defendants had their day in court. The court has made a decision," Gov. Mary Fallin said in a statement. "Two men that do not contest their guilt in heinous murders...

Since word broke on Thursday night that Chelsea Clinton will be having a baby, ABC has fixated over the news, devoting 12 minutes and 47 seconds of coverage to the arrival of America's new "royal" child. Yet, the same network totally ignored the latest delay of the Kyestone XL pipeline by the Obama administration (and the political ramifications that go with it). On Friday morning, ABC reporter Bianna Golodryga hyped, "Move over, Prince George, though. This morning, Americans have their own royal, or, rather, presidential baby, to look forward to." On Sunday, This Week avoided Keystone, yet the ABC program...

The Russian government today claimed there are more than 100 American 'mercenaries' from a defense contracting company disguised as Ukrainian troops in the embattled former Soviet nation, a claim the American firm and top U.S. officials deny. ... The latest news relesae from Greystone, as posted on a company blog, is from September 2012, titled "New business in Russia" and simply says the company "provided executive protection services in Russia." ABC News Political Analyst and former Bush/Cheney advisor Matthew Dowd attempted to downplay the impact ObamaCare will have in the 2013-midterm elections. Appearing on This Week w/ George Stephanopoulos on March 30, Dowd asserted, “2014 is going to be about the direction of the country, the economy, and how people feel in their lives. It's not going to be about ObamaCare.” Despite the bizarre prediction from the ABC analyst, conservative editor of "The Weekly Standard" Bill Kristol slapped down Dowd’s ridiculous claim and shot back that “I’m happy to have a referendum on ObamaCare… and will be good for Republicans.” See video below.]

... an estimated two hundred million Christians worldwide face harsh persecution each year in dozens of countries on nearly every continent. Bill Bright once said that more Christians have suffered persecution and martyrdom since the beginning of the twentieth century than in all of the rest of church history to that point. What should our response be? Always, our response should be informed prayer; and whenever possible, we should promote and participate in gospel-centered action. It is impossible to pray for situations about which we are unaware. The gospel is offensive to those who are perishing (1 Cor. 1:18); therefore,...

Perhaps because President Obama is looking pitiably weak in his mano a mano with Vladimir Putin over the Ukraine, ABC News chose to bury the story during today's Good Morning America. Incredibly, the Ukrainian crisis the show-opening teaser didn't mention the Ukraine--but did highlight the latest on The Real Housewives of New Jersey. As the program unfolded, and before saying a word about the Ukraine, GMA inexcusably chose to air segments on rain in California, snow in the North, a laser being shined into a plane's cockpit, an airplane bird strike, the arrest of a Mexican drug lord, the cause...

ABC News reporter Elizabeth Vargas has publicly acknowledged that she’s an alcoholic, and said it took her years to admit it. In an interview aired Friday on “Good Morning America,” Vargas said hiding her problem from others was exhausting. “Even to admit it to myself was admitting, I thought, that I was a failure,” said Vargas, who noted that she had reported several “20/20” specials on drinking yet couldn’t acknowledge her own alcohol dependency. …
