Parents always hope their teenagers make smart decisions, but it seems like this generation might be parentless based on what we’re seeing so far. Today’s generation is taking the social challenges to another level. Some of the older crowd did the ice bucket challenge where they dumped buckets of ice water on their head to raise awareness for ALS. Some people did the cinnamon challenge where they ate a spoonful of cinnamon to see if they could handle it. The next generation started eating Tide Pods and they’ve taken it a notch. They are now snorting condoms in their noses...

MADISON, Wis. — In attempting to explain her two-year work hiatus in the early to mid-1990s, Democratic gubernatorial candidate Mary Burke has said she was just burned out after an intense period of leading European operations for Trek Bicycle Corp., her family’s Waterloo-based global manufacturer. In fact, Burke apparently was fired by her own family following steep overseas financial losses and plummeting morale among Burke’s European sales staff, multiple former Trek executives and employees told Wisconsin Reporter.
