Sen. Elizabeth Warren on Wednesday unveiled a plan that takes aim yet again at the multibillion-dollar lobbying industry. This time, she’s looking to hit them where it could hurt the most: their wallets. Warren’s latest proposal is calling for an “excessive lobbying tax,” which would require lobbying shops to pay a tax if they spend over $500,000 per year on influence campaigns.

Yesterday, Donald Trump’s reelection campaign and the Republican National Committee announced they had raised a combined $125 million over the past three months and had $156 million in cash on hand — roughly twice as much as President Obama and the DNC had at this point in the 2012 cycle. The good news for the Democrats in that is that more spending doesn’t always guarantee a win. Hillary Clinton and the DNC out-raised Trump and the RNC in 2016, and her allied SuperPACs outspent the Trump-aligned ones. The bad news is that the game plan for an incumbent president with...

Here's the 'problem': I inherited at work a Windows 10 computer to use from another worker who has gone on to better job somewhere else. The problem is the Outlook Email still has HIS contacts list, both work and personal, and I cannot get rid of any of them. I go to the 'PEOPLE' section and go through the right clicks on the OLD CONTACTS, but the 'DELETE' function is grayed out and will not do anything. It won't let me edit any either. Anyone else have this problem? And if so, how do you fix it?............................ Thanks in advance,...

Yertle’s Quiet Effectiveness Poor old Mitch McConnell. The Senate Majority Leader is frequently accused of being part of the “Swamp.” Perhaps he is, but he has been superbly effective for the last four years, and almost nobody notices. Indeed, Yertle (as I affectionately call him) has been a one-man Senate wrecking crew against liberals. Yet he is constantly under fire, most recently from Rush Limbaugh who cited Yertle’s comment that if the House impeaches President Trump, the Senate must have a trial. Well, duh. That’s the Constitution fer ya! But I don’t think it means at all what it seems,...

After months of attacking each other and not speaking, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his nemesis, Yisrael Beytenu leader Avigdor Liberman, will meet on Thursday morning at the Prime Minister's Office in Jerusalem. Netanyahu repeatedly told Likud leaders that there is no point in speaking to Liberman, because the Yisrael Beytenu leader is determined to end the prime minister's political career. But after Blue and White leader Benny Gantz canceled a meeting with Netanyahu, he called Liberman on Wednesday evening. "There is no point in wasting the country's time," Netanyahu told Liberman. "We will meet and see if it is...

TEL AVIV — Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s political and personal future hangs in the balance this week, as a pretrial hearing weighing whether to indict him on corruption charges kicked off. Following the four-day hearing which began Wednesday, Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit will decide whether to indict Israel’s longest serving prime minister on fraud and bribery charges in three corruption cases. Netanyahu denies any wrongdoing and has said he is the victim of a politically orchestrated “witch-hunt” by the media and the left. The start of the hearing came after talks to form a unity government, following last month's...

Faced with the potential for its stock to fall below $20 on the first day — stripping hundreds of millions from its valuation — top execs pulled the plug as its headstrong CEO declares, "We’re not willing to undervalue our company." It was past 4 p.m. on Sept. 26 and the stock market had closed for the day as WME president Ari Greenburg and other executives sat in a car making their way to the New York Stock Exchange. They were going to preside over the unfurling of a banner bearing the name of his agency’s parent, Endeavor Group Holdings,...

“Analysts need to be African-Americans, not people that are not,” Rep. Rashida Tlaib said. “It’s true, I think non-African-Americans think African-Americans all look the same!” She said she has witnessed people confuse Reps. John Lewis, D-Ga., and Elijah Cummings, D-Md., who both are black and bald. Detroit’s chief of police, Chief James Craig, gave Tlaib a tour of the Real Time Crime Center, where the department uses facial recognition technology to find suspects. Craig, who is black, did not go for Tlaib’s suggestion. “I trust people who are trained, regardless of race, regardless of gender,” he responded.

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, who is holding meetings in Italy, held a press conference on Wednesday afternoon in Rome. Secretary of State Pompeo told reporters he was on the July 25th Ukrainian call which would be expected. He also said the policy with Ukraine is consistent. Of course, this is what the liberal media latched onto. But then Pompeo dropped these bombs on the street thugs and goons running the US House committees. Pompeo told reporters how Democrats in the House violated fundamental principles, contacted State Department officials directly and told them NOT to contact legal counsel. Secretary of...

The appearance of posters asking "what if Islam is not a religion of peace?" has inspired authorities to launch a nationwide search for the person who plastered these posters in a variety of prominent public places. The postings are considered especially insidious because "many are posted too high for offended parties to easily rip down." The Alberta Muslim Public Affairs Council is working with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police "to try to apprehend the miscreant or miscreants who have done this dastardly deed," said programs director Trent Daley. "They're playing with fire. Muslims are very sensitive to comments that cast...

VIDEO Valerie Plame, who is now running for Congress, is one of those hyping the witch hunt against Trump based on SECOND HAND information from a supposed whistle blower. Plame knows a lot about witch hunts since she is the Poster Girl of witch hunts due to her role in the long investigation by Patrick Fitzgerald into finding the identity of the person who leaked her name to columnist Robert Novak. Fitzgerald knew the name of the perp within days of beginning his investigation but because the person turned out to be a Deep State State Department insider, Fitzgerald...

Dire talk of fascism, threats to democracy, constitutional crises, etc. are Morning Joe's everyday fare in the Age of Trump. But to the fevered proceedings, Willie Geist normally brings a welcome dose of equanimity. It was thus a shock to hear Willie of all people floating a dark scenario on today's show. He claimed that there's no one around the table or watching at home who thinks that President Trump will "go quietly" if he's impeached or defeated at the polls. Geist troublingly claimed, "that’s the context in which you hear this coup talk, and you hear this civil war...

The Little Sisters of the Poor have asked the Supreme Court to once again protect them from being forced to fund abortions. Over the past three years the Supreme Court has twice protected the Catholic nuns, but pro-abortion state officials have filed new lawsuits trying to force the Catholic order to pay for abortions in their health care plan. In Commonwealth of Pennsylvania v. Trump, Pennsylvania Attorney General Josh Shapiro threatened the Little SistersÂ’ ministry by challenging their religious exemption, forcing the Little Sisters to continue to defend themselves in court. After a loss in the Third Circuit Court of...

If you want to see how extreme the Democrats have gotten on gun control, you just had to listen to a House Judiciary Committee hearing last week. It is one thing for Democrats such as Beto O'Rourke and Rep. Eric Swalwell (R-CA) to call for confiscating AR-15s and civilian versions of AK-47s. But in the committee hearing this past Wednesday, the loudest applause came when Democratic witnesses called for bans on all or at least the vast majority of guns.
