Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., on Wednesday asked President Trump's onetime personal attorney Michael Cohen if Trump had intentionally devalued his real estate assets to reduce his tax bills, to which Cohen responded, "Yes." Ocasio-Cortez, a member of the House Oversight Committee, sought to lay the groundwork for lawmakers to potentially subpoena employees of the Trump Organization -- including its chief financial officer, Allen Weisselberg, who Cohen said was privy to Trump's various money maneuvers and who received immunity from federal prosecutors in New York to testify against Cohen prior to the attorney's guilty plea on federal campaign finance violations last...

One of the most celebrated portraits of the Renaissance has traveled from London to New York to take its place in a jewel of an exhibition. What is this celebrated portrait? It’s not the Mona Lisa, and it’s not Henry VIII. It’s not the portrait of a Roman pope or a Venetian doge. And it’s not by Raphael, Michelangelo or Dürer. It’s of a tailor standing at a table. He holds a pair of glinting black shears in his right hand and the corner of a black cloth, marked with chalk lines, in his left. He’s about to cut the...

According to the Federation for American Immigration Reform’s (FAIR) new 2017 report, illegal immigrants, and their children, cost American taxpayers $135 billion annually—$8,075 per alien per year. For the sake of comparison, the damage caused by Hurricane Harvey in 2017 cost $120 billion. Illegal immigration is a national emergency. These costs are partially offset by taxes collected from illegals, which total $19 billion. Taken together, the net cost of illegal immigrants to American taxpayers is $116 billion annually. While high, this number is certainly not an outlier: a recent study by the Heritage Foundation found that low-skilled immigrants (including those...

Break the Parents Circle of Anti-Israel Hate (Part II) Israel’s often radically anti-Zionist peace movement is today an “anachronism that no longer has realistic answers to Israel’s problems,” Commentary magazine has noted, something exemplified by the Parents Circle—Family Forum (PCFF). As previously discussed, PCFF’s spokeswoman Robi Damelin recently visited Washington, DC, on a speaking and lobbying tour, yet non-Israelis should critically examine PCFF before offering uninformed support. PCFF’s claim of promoting reconciliation among Israelis and Palestinians, including PCFF members who have all lost relatives to various Arab-Israeli conflicts, masks more nefarious agendas. PCFF’s false ideology consistently proclaims that violence against...

The murders of five people in Bucks County earlier this week may have been sparked by "cult influences," according to a report by 6ABC. The network spoke to surviving members of the family, who said that the deceased were "going through something religiously" and had joined an online cult. The five people who were found dead in a bedroom in a Morrisville apartment complex on Monday included three children. Authorities allege Shana Selena Decree, 45, the mother of two of the victims, and her daughter, Dominique Klaran Decree, 19, killed their family members. They are both charged with five counts...

What many of you may not be aware of is the fact that I can personally confirm that the ONLY reason Michael Cohen “turned on” the President of the United States is because Mueller threatened to throw his wife in jail for up to 30 years. Period. She is the co-guarantor of a $20M personal loan that Mueller discovered

Questioning Islam and Muhammad has been effectively criminalized in Europe Here is background about Elisabeth Sabaditsch-Wolff’s case, a case with extraordinarily important implications for the future of the freedom of speech and of the free world in general. Please visit her website here. In 2009, Mrs. Elisabeth Sabaditsch-Wolff (ES) spoke at a series of seminars organized by the Austrian Freedom Party, which were advertised to and open to members of the public. At two such seminars, each attended by about 30 people, she made several statements about Islam and the Prophet Muhammad. The seminars were also attended by an undercover...

WASHINGTON — When she was younger, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said she acted like a “white dude” to get ahead. “Like straight up. You think you need to talk a certain way, dress a certain way, have your shoulder pads out to here, be like, ‘Hi Jan!’” she said, deepening her voice in a podcast interview. “You think that’s how you have to move through the world and I found myself subconsciously doing that in high school and in college.” “I felt like I need to write a certain way and talk a certain way,” she went on. “And like the...

Rep. Jim Jordan on Wednesday accused the Democrats of using President Trump’s former fixer Michael Cohen as a “patsy” to get at Mr. Trump. “We just had a five-minute debate where Mr. Cohen disputes what the Southern District of New York found, what the judge found, that he was actually guilty of committing bank fraud,” Jordan said. “If this statement back here doesn’t say it all, ‘Cohen’s consciousness of wrongdoing is fleeting, his remorse is minimal, his instinct to blame others is strong.’ There’s only one thing wrong with that statement. His remorse is nonexistent. He just debated a...

Military draft ruling a 'blow' to gender equality NASHVILLE (BP) -- A federal judge in Texas has ruled the all-male military draft unconstitutional, a move that some Baptist leaders say is a blow to gender equality, not a win for it. Judge Gray H. Miller of Federal District Court in the Southern District of Texas said earlier this week that the "time has passed" for debate on whether women belong in the military. In 2015 the Pentagon lifted all restrictions for women in service, making them eligible for combat. It follows that if women are as eligible for combat as...

Less than two hours after crews began demolishing eight prototypes of the president's prized border wall in San Diego, seven of the barriers were destroyed. A large hydraulic jackhammer attached to an excavator pounded the walls repeatedly on Wednesday as slabs fell into small clouds of dust. Crews had previously drilled small holes in the concrete and stuffed them with grout that softens the cement and makes them easier to destroy. A panel made of steel poles was also dismantled.

The Sham Conclusion to a Sham Synod The sham summit on “Protection of Minors in the Church” is over. As expected, not one word of the proceedings was devoted to the homosexual corruption of the Catholic priesthood, from the dioceses to the College of Cardinals and the Vatican itself. Not even the “abuse of minors” was described as what it generally is: homosexual predation by priests, bishops and even cardinals.Pope Francis’ closing address to the useless gathering was an exercise in deflecting attention from the real problem. The first 12 paragraphs on “the sexual abuse of minors” rhetorically reduce this...

A Virginia state employee has complained that her eighth-grade daughter was upset during a tour of the historic governor’s residence when first lady Pam Northam handed raw cotton to her and another African American child and asked them to imagine being enslaved and having to pick the crop. “The Governor and Mrs. Northam have asked the residents of the Commonwealth to forgive them for their racially insensitive past actions,” Leah Dozier Walker, who oversees the Office of Equity and Community Engagement at the state Education Department, wrote Feb. 25 to lawmakers and the office of Gov. Ralph Northam (D). “But...

An FEC complaint alleges AOC may have illegally funneled thousands of dollars through an allied PAC to her boyfriend. DC-based Coolidge Reagan Foundation allege in their complaint that when the Brand New Congress PAC (BNC) -- a political arm of Brand New Congress LLC, hired by Ocasio-Cortez, to run and support her campaign -- paid Riley Roberts for marketing services, it potentially ran afoul of campaign finance law. “It’s not illegal to pay her boyfriend, but it appears they created some sort of scheme to avoid claiming the money [as a campaign expense].” What exactly did he do for that...

India is preparing for war with the construction of 14,000 bunkers to protect families on the Pakistan border as Islamabad invokes the spectre of nuclear conflict, telling India 'better sense' is needed. Earlier today Pakistan and India said they had shot down each other's warplanes, in a dramatic escalation of the dangerous confrontation between the nuclear-armed rivals. Pakistan said it downed two Indian jets in its airspace and captured two pilots, later amended to one: whom they then seemingly paraded - blindfolded and bloodied - for the camera. On Tuesday evening, Islamabad used heavy calibre artillery to shell 12 to...

I gather I was supposed to gasp when Michael Cohen said during his testimony before Congress on Wednesday, "The president of the United States thus wrote a personal check for the payment of hush money as part of a criminal scheme to violate campaign finance laws." If that's the best he's got, Trump should demand we hold the election this coming Tuesday. Cohen was referring to Trump's 2017 reimbursement of the $130,000 hush money he paid to porn star Stormy Daniels to stay quiet about her claim that she'd had sex with Trump, aka Cohen's client -- meaning much of...
