  • Judicial Watch: Anthony Weiner’s Laptop Had 2,800 Government Documents from Huma Abedin

Disgraced former Congressman Anthony Weiner’s laptop had 2,800 government documents that were sent to his computer by his wife Huma Abedin, according to investigators. The blockbuster report was revealed by Judicial Watch after they sued the State Department for failing to respond to a FOIA request. “This is a disturbing development. Our experience with Abedin’s emails suggest these Weiner laptop documents will include classified and other sensitive materials,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton in a statement. “When will the Justice Department do a serious investigation of Hillary Clinton’s and Huma Abedin’s obvious violations of law?”

I realize that it must be intensely humiliating for members of the Obama foreign policy team to see President Trump making good on his promise to eliminate ISIS. The rapid fall of the Jihad Caliphate is showing up the bloody fecklessness of the Obama administration, which, after the President ridiculed ISIS as the jayvee, was forced to lamely account for its failure effectively dispatch it. But Marie Harf has gone the extra mile into absurdity in dealing with the shame, actually trying to credit her former boss, President Obama, with the victory. She was, in other words, “harfing.” The Urban...

The decorations are out and Halloween is two weeks away but there’s controversy at Boyden Elementary School in Walpole. The school will not be having its annual Halloween costume parade this year. “I think it’s a lot of political correctness,” a Walpole woman said. “I think it’s a shame because Halloween is the funnest day of the year next to Christmas for children.”

In liberal billionaire Tom Steyer’s ideal world, his taxes would be raised, the coal industry would be no more and President Donald Trump would be impeached. “I am strongly opposed to even one more penny in [tax] cuts for rich people and corporations,” the prominent Democrat donor and activist declared in an Los Angeles Times op-ed Oct. 5. Instead, he wants the government to “raise taxes on the rich and use the money to invest directly in the American people.” Steyer is the founder of Farallon Capital Management, a hedge fund that made money through coal investments until 2014. He...

Climate change is impacting life in Pennsylvania, and its effects will become increasingly obvious as the century progresses, former vice president Al Gore told a room of 1,300 people at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center in Pittsburgh on Tuesday. Gore tucked state-specific stats into a two-hour presentation peppered with images of melting roads, collapsing glaciers, flooded cities and other dramatic weather events scientists have linked to climate change. The presentation was part of a Climate Reality Leadership Corps meeting, the 36th in a series in which Gore trains attendees to advocate for changes that could help slow global warming....

According to a poll conducted by Politico and Morning Consult, nearly half of American voters distrust the media’s reporting on President Trump and his administration. Not only that, but they believe journalists deliberately fabricate stories about Trump. More surprising, it’s not just Republicans or Trump supporters who believe this.

Just days after US President Donald Trump called for further isolation of Iran, a Norwegian solar company signed a deal Tuesday to invest €2.5 billion in the country over the next five years. “Norway is fully committed to the JCPOA (nuclear deal), and this is proof that we have taken the opening very seriously, and we will see more investment very soon,” Norwegian ambassador Lars Nordrum told AFP. He was hosting the signing at his Tehran residence between Norway’s Saga Energy and Iran’s Amin Energy Developers, who will work together to install two gigawatts of solar panels in multiple sites...

French citizens are among the biggest contingent of overseas fighters who have joined IS, with around 1,000 nationals estimated by counterterror officials to have traveled to Iraq and Syria. France doesn’t want them back. France’s attitude to the killing of its citizens in Syria fighting for the Islamic State group has rarely been as frankly stated as it was in the lead up to the fall of Raqa. “We are committed, along with our allies, to the destruction of DAESH (Islamic State), and we’re doing everything to that end,” Defense Minister Florence Parly told reporters at the weekend. “What we...

In two tweets on Wednesday morning, President Donald Trump returned to the subject of former FBI Director James Comey, once again showing frustration with his own Justice Department. "Wow, FBI confirms report that James Comey drafted letter exonerating Crooked Hillary Clinton long before investigation was complete. Many people not interviewed, including Clinton herself. Comey stated under oath that he didn't do this-obviously a fix? Where is Justice Dept?" Trump asked. "As it has turned out, James Comey lied and leaked and totally protected Hillary Clinton. He was the best thing that ever happened to her!" Trump added in a third...

Former Louisville head coach Rick Pitino has filed lawsuits against Adidas America, Inc. and Adidas North America, Inc. claiming damages caused by the company's bribing of recruits, reports ESPN's Jay Bilas. The crux of Pitino's lawsuit is the coach's assertion that he had no knowledge of Adidas' alleged bribes, and the their corrupt activity resulted in his firing, which was made official Monday.

If you have hunted long enough, then you have seen a wounded deer make its way across a property. For most of us, I have no doubt that ethical hunters would put a deer down that was wounded severely if the opportunity presented itself. Just last year, a mortally wounded deer ran across our property line and it was quickly put down. It only took them 15 minutes later and the hunters who shot it came walking right through the field tracking it. They heard our shot so they knew right where it went. After a few pleasantries, they took...

The US government’s aggressive foreign policy and hostile attitude toward other nations has created an alarming number of lost allies and gained enemies in a very short amount of time. United States relations with Russia, China, Iran, and especially North Korea, are sinking to lows that could easily foster a war. If the US elites have any chance of stopping China and the rest of the east from gaining world supremacy, they need as many allies as they can get. Unfortunately for the US hegemony, another strategic ally may be ending their alliance with the US. Ever since the US...

The health of a nation’s economy and the health of its people are connected, but in some surprising ways. At times like these, when the economy is strong and unemployment is low, research has found that death rates rise. At least, in the short term. In the long term, economic growth is good for health. What’s going on? One study of European countries just before and during the Great Recession found that a one-percentage-point increase in the unemployment rate is associated with a 0.5 percent decline in the overall mortality rate. Other studies of Europe during different periods, as well...

President Trump declared on Twitter Wednesday that James Comey "totally protected Hillary Clinton," after the FBI confirmed the former bureau boss drafted a statement on the private email case two months before it was over. In a series of tweets, Trump also swiped at the Justice Department, seeming to suggest they review what he called an apparent "fix." “Wow, FBI confirms report that James Comey drafted letter exonerating Crooked Hillary Clinton long before investigation was complete,” Trump tweeted. “Many people not interviewed, including Hillary Clinton herself. Businessman Erik Prince says he has not been contacted by Special Counsel Robert Mueller about a January meeting in the Seychelles between himself and a Russian reportedly close to Russian President Vladimir Putin. Prince added that whoever leaked to the press should be questioned instead. The Washington Post reported in April on what it called a "secret meeting" in the Indian Ocean country, citing "officials, who did not identify the Russian." The Post wrote that the Jan. 11 meeting was "part of an apparent effort to establish a back-channel line of communication between Moscow and President-elect Donald Trump, according to...

Did you happen to catch CNN’s latest smear? Anderson Cooper’s show recently featured a “two-part exclusive” that claims Donald Trump’s EPA director had conspired with the CEO of a mining company to “withdraw environmental restrictions” so the company could dig “the largest open pit mine in the world in an extremely sensitive watershed in wild Alaska.” The report was enough to horrify any caring person. CNN showed beautiful pictures of colorful salmon swimming in Bristol Bay, and the reporter intoned dramatically, “EPA staffers were shocked to receive this email obtained exclusively by CNN which says ‘we have been directed by...

A black man on a Metrobus attacked a 52-year-old disabled, homeless passenger, spitting in his face, and blaming the victim, who is white, for decades of slavery in the United States, police say. The incident occurred on a Q1 bus, which had departed the Silver Spring Transit Center and was headed for the Shady Grove Metro Station. It was around 5 p.m. on Sunday, September 24. According to court documents, Marquis Evans-Royster, 27, approached the disabled, homeless man, looked directly into his eyes and stated, "You owe me for making my grandmother a slave." The victim remained calm and did...
