Philadelphia might mean the City of Brotherly Love in Greek, but the sentiment of the name apparently doesn't always doesn't apply to Philly's female residents. At least five women got into a large-scale brawl that lasted for multiple minutes at a Zara clothing store on Friday afternoon. The fight broke out at a store location in the city's Rittenhouse Square neighborhood.

“To Understand the Scriptures” (Luke 24:36-49)Have you ever thought about what the Bible is all about? I mean, if you had to boil it down to just a few short sentences, what would you say is the main message of the Scriptures? You know, a lot of people have a lot of different opinions about the Bible and what it is saying. They pull this verse or that verse out of context and twist it like a wax nose to make it suit their purpose. People approach the Bible with their presuppositions and then find in the Bible what they...

(VIDEO-AT-LINK) The city of Chicago is proposing a $5.5 million reparations package for those who suffered under the ruthless rule of police commander Jon Burge from 1972 to 1991. Backed by Mayor Rahm Emanuel, the plan would supply victims with free college tuition, counseling for drug abuse and psychological issues, and include a formal apology from the city, according to the Chicago Tribune. While the plan appears to be an attempt to reckon with part of the city's less-than-spotless past, Thursday evening Fox Business Network's Charles Payne said he's afraid nationwide slavery reparations might be next. "The news in my...

Republicans are the usual targets for caricature on popular US comedy show Saturday Night Live (remember Tina Fey as Sarah Palin?). But comedienne Kate McKinnon's impersonation of Hillary Clinton last week gave Fey a run for her money. On the eve of Clinton's announcement, one biting SNL skit imagined what Mrs Clinton's announcement video might sound like. "Citizens, you will elect me," McKinnon barked. "I will be your leader!" The satirical message was simple: Hillary Clinton believes she is entitled to the presidency.

The Boston Globe has published a heartbreaking appeal from the parents of Martin Richard, the 8-year-old boy who died in the Boston Marathon bombing. Bill and Denise Richard (who were also injured in the blast, along with their two surviving children) are asking prosecutors to stop seeking the death penalty for Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, who was recently found guilty of carrying out the attacks with his late brother, Tamerlan. Rather the seeing Tsarnaev killed — and enduring the years of legal maneuvering that generally precede an execution in the United States — the Richards want the 21-year-old sentenced to life in...

(VIDEO-AT-LINK)NASHUA, N.H. —Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker closed the NHGOP’s First-in-the-Nation Republican Leadership Summit on Saturday night with a call for “common sense” leadership to promote “big and bold” ideas. Walker, who has been leading the GOP presidential field in recent New Hampshire polling, told several hundred Republicans who remained for the separately ticketed Saturday night dinner that if he runs for president, he would apply the same principles and approach that he said has turned around his state’s economy. Introduced by former Gov. John H. Sununu, Walker said he decided to run for governor because he and his wife wanted...

As GOP presidential hopefuls scramble to promote their political platforms and distinguish themselves from other candidates, plenty of conservatives were alarmed to see a story on Breitbart.com about Marco Rubio’s support for President Obama’s Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program on the basis that “there are already people benefiting from it.”

The 11.4 million undocumented immigrants living in the U.S. provide billions of dollars for local, state and federal taxes, based on a new study. And according to a nonprofit organization, tax contributions by undocumented immigrants would increase if immigration reform policies were approved. The Institute on Taxation and Economic Policy (ITEP), a nonprofit and nonpartisan organization about tax policy issues, found that if all 11.4 million undocumented immigrants received lawful permanent residency in the U.S., then state and local tax contributions would increase by approximately $2.2 billion per year. Based on 2012 data, ITEP stated undocumented immigrants have already contributed...

Former Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina warned the New Hampshire Republican Leadership Summit that “Hillary Clinton must not be president,” because she lacks the essential qualities of leadership such as a record of accomplishment, candor and transparency. “She will pursue a set of policies that will crush possibilities and the potential of this great nation,” Fiorina said.

Having as few as five sips of water an hour while driving is equivalent to being over the drink drive limit. Drivers make more than twice as many mistakes when they are just mildly dehydrated, according to new research. The study revealed that drivers who had only had 25ml of water an hour made more than double the number of mistakes on the road than those who were hydrated - the same amount as those who have been drink driving.

This is what he (Tony Campolo) has to say about Hillary Clinton and why Christians should vote for her: “Some of my Evangelical friends raise questions about her views on abortion. But Hillary Clinton is one of the few candidates on the political stage who has a plan for cutting the abortion rate in America by at least 50 percent. I know Hillary Clinton to be a committed Christian. As a teenager, Hillary’s religious beliefs were heavily impacted by hearing a sermon by Martin Luther King, Jr. The youth pastor of her Methodist church mentored her through her teenage years...

We’re still a year away from the first official votes being cast in the 2016 Republican presidential primary in my home state of Iowa. Yet some of my brethren seem willing to declare the contest over and award Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker the victory before he’s truly been vetted. How about we make a guy go through the job interview before we hire him based solely off his resume? Now, to be sure Walker has an attractive resume, which is why I have several kind things to say about him in my book Rules for Patriots: How Conservatives Can Win...

This week, Senator Jeanne Shaheen of New Hampshire introduced the Women on the Twenty Act, legislation aimed at putting an American woman on the $20 bill. Shaheen's efforts nod to an initiative by Women on 20s, a group that is lobbying to change the $20 by 2020. That year Americans will mark the 100th anniversary of the passage of the 19th amendment, which granted women the right to vote. (The $20 is also overdue for a redesign to thwart counterfeiters.) For Andrew Jackson, current face of the $20 bill, this is the latest assault on the paper perch he has...

Early in the political season now, we have four who have declared their intentions to run for the presidency of the United States: Ted Cruz, Rand Paul, Marco Rubio and Hillary Clinton. One would think after having experienced some of the worst economic woes ever heaped upon the American public by the most un-American Democratic administration in our history that anyone would even consider Hillary Clinton as a viable candidate is beyond logical reasoning. Hillary's political "baggage" seems to grow each and every year that she is around in some kind of official position in our government, as witnessed by...
