Lance Armstrong is facing criminal charges for his actions regarding a car accident that happened in Aspen, Colorado on December 28, 2014, where he hit two parked cars after a night of partying and tried to let his girlfriend, Anna Hansen, take the blame. According to a report by ESPN, Armstrong and Hansen, who have been dating for years, were leaving a party at the Aspen Art Museum, with Armstrong behind the wheel of his GMC Yukon. The car slid on some ice and hit the parked cars. Armstrong and Hansen agreed to say that Hansen was driving. After police...

Lance Armstrong has been ordered to pay $10 million (£6.5m) to SCA Promotions, the Dallas-based company that paid him around $12m in bonuses during his career. Armstrong won seven Tour de France titles between 1999 and 2005 before being stripped of all of them in 2012 for doping. The dispute with SCA dates back to 2005 when the firm withheld bonuses due to concerns that the Texan had cheated. SCA eventually reached an out-of-court settlement with Armstrong, paying him $9.5m plus $2.5m in costs. After Armstrong’s cheating was exposed, SCA sued to get its money back. The company has a separate...

There was a time when Lance Armstrong’s downfall in cycling was going to not only equal a lifetime of shame — but also financial hardship. AUSTIN, Texas (August 5, 2015) — The federal government wants to see Lance Armstrong’s medical records from his treatments for cancer. Court records show that government lawyers on July 30 subpoenaed the Indiana University School of Medicine to provide records of Armstrong’s treatments and donations he later made to the school. The federal government has sued Armstrong to recover millions of dollars in sponsorship money the U.S. Postal Service paid to his teams. Penalties could approach $100 million. Armstrong’s lawyers say the demand for medical records is an invasion of privacy and want a judge to block their release.

Lance Armstrong will be back on the Tour de France roads for a controversial charity ride Thursday, his first appearance since being stripped of his seven titles for using performance-enhancing drugs. Even before he was back in the saddle, the disgraced cycling star stirred up trouble by hinting on social media that the leader of the race, a British cyclist, may be 'too strong.' Armstrong will cycle two stages of the Tour for a leukaemia charity -- from Muret to Rodez Thursday and from Rodez to Mende Friday -- a day ahead of the competing riders.

Not too long ago it would be considered perverse to say that men have a right to use the restrooms and shower facilities reserved for women. Today, the reverse is true. Ask Lance Berkman, the former St. Louis Cardinals slugger. The St. Louis Cardinals has hosted Christian Day for nearly three decades, and this year, as in the past, they have invited Berkman. But because he is opposed to men and women using the bathrooms and shower facilities of the opposite sex—it’s almost always cross-dressing men who want to crash the ladies room—the Cardinals are being condemned by homosexuals and...
