Lance Armstrong will be back on the Tour de France roads for a controversial charity ride Thursday, his first appearance since being stripped of his seven titles for using performance-enhancing drugs.

Even before he was back in the saddle, the disgraced cycling star stirred up trouble by hinting on social media that the leader of the race, a British cyclist, may be 'too strong.'

Armstrong will cycle two stages of the Tour for a leukaemia charity -- from Muret to Rodez Thursday and from Rodez to Mende Friday -- a day ahead of the competing riders.

Even my dog has as many Tour de France titles as Lance has.

They all doped. He was still a better bicycle racer than the others. He got caught and paid for it.

Not everyone doped. You could pick them out by noticing those riders that were off the back of the peleton on a regular basis. Only those who doped were really competitive.

Likely will be boos and thrown fruit and beg. Hope they get it cleaned up before the tour comes through.

Was a staunch supporter until he fessed up....

Just go away, mister 1992 once-was golden boy. You're second only to Bill Cosby unless there are some more criminals out there holding themselves up as good examples. Or maybe a psycho preacher or two holding themselves out as examples of morality.

Still leaves room for you to be in good company in the top 10 hypocrites of our time.

Well, okay, not counting congresscreeps or corrupt senators or another politician who's at the top of the list, but it's a different list.

The Euro-weenies went after Armstrong because they couldn’t stand that an American, a Texan no less, won their little bike race 7 times.

All the top riders doped, all the way back to the legendary Eddy Merckx, but the Euro-weenies never cared until an American showed them up big time.
