To see just how far the once-odds-on favorite in the Republican presidential race has fallen, let's look back last year, when Rep. Pete Sessions (Tex.), a senior House Republican, endorsed Jeb Bush for president: -snip- "I'm endorsing Jeb Bush. But that was 10 months ago. He has since then not sold himself as well as he had wanted," Sessions told National Journal's Daniel Newhauser and Alex Rogers. "Everybody is weighing and balancing what they know now that they didn't know 10 months ago, and I think that the person who gets closest to me is a [Marco] Rubio."

Jeb Bush said his mother, former First Lady Barbara Bush, has become his biggest supporter after her now-famous 2013 proclamation on TODAY that the country has "had enough Bushes." "I marked her down as neutral at that point," Jeb Bush joked to NBC News' Kelly O'Donnell on Thursday. "Since that time she's been my biggest supporter." Barbara Bush will join her son at a town hall event in Derry, New Hampshire, Thursday evening. It's the first time the two will appear together on the campaign trail.

I would like to preface this article with a statement that should be obvious: I am no expert in government affairs or foreign relations nor I did not spend hundreds of thousands of dollars earning a degree in political science so that I could discuss such matters. I’m simply a man; a man with certain unique life experiences that have offered me varying perspectives of a few things. I am an Iraq war veteran – though my job was working in a prison, so it was nothing of great danger- and I’m also formerly homeless. Both of these are experiences...

Former Republican congressional candidate Bryan E. Leib has officially entered the 2024 GOP primary in the Sunshine State’s 25th District, advocating for fresh leadership in Congress to uphold “common sense,” Judeo-Christian values, and Trump’s “America First” agenda; he is challenging long-serving Democrat Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz. In an exclusive interview with Breitbart News on Thursday, communications strategist Bryan E. Leib, a senior fellow at the Center for Fundamental Rights and a former Republican congressional candidate, announced his candidacy “because we don’t need more baby boomers serving in Congress,” he said. “They tear down our statues, they burn down police stations,...

Longtime Oregon Republican National Committeeman Solomon Yue is facing a recall from the state party that he suspects is in response to his support of former President Donald Trump. Yue, who is in his sixth term as state GOP national committeeman, is basing his assumption, at least in part, on the petition to recall him having been circulating days after he met with the former president, who promised to hold a rally in Oregon. Trump met with Yue last month at the National Rifle Association’s National Convention in Indianapolis. Yue told Just the News this weekend he wanted Trump to...

A fiery Jeb Bush is defending his foreign policy strategies in the face of criticism from a Donald Trump supporter who showed up at one of Bush's town hall meeting. Christopher Mazeral is a town chairman for Trump's campaign in New Hampshire. He says creating a no-fly zone over Syria amounts to an act of war against Russia. But Bush says creating such a zone would send a message to Russia that the United States is "back in the game."

AMHERST, N.H. (AP) — A fiery Jeb Bush defended his foreign policy strategies Saturday in the face of criticism from a Donald Trump supporter who showed up at one of Bush's town hall meetings. Christopher Mazerall, a town chairman for Trump's New Hampshire campaign, said he decided to come by Bush's event on his way to make calls for Trump's presidential bid. "You're willing to engage in a world war with Russia over foreign interests in Syria," Mazerall told Bush from the crowd. "How is that not treason?" His assertion centered on Bush's call for the U.S. to support a...

In an extremely tight race between Scott Brown and Jeanne Shaheen, voters are watching closely for any signs of irregularities that could sway the race one way or another. The governor of New Hampshire, Maggie Hassan, was asked about possible election fraud in the upcoming election. She responded by saying that there was nearly no evidence of any voter fraud in New Hampshire, and that the only case in the last decade was that of a Bush supporter in 2004. Here are her full comments: "Our attorney general has investigated repeated charges of so-called voter fraud and has found only...

(CNN)There's a new Jeb Bush on the campaign trail: More combative with his rivals, fired up in his speeches, looser and candid with reporters. The full-scale reboot -- on display last week in New Hampshire and expected in Tuesday night's debate in Wisconsin -- is meant to transform a self-described introvert not naturally inclined to dramatic flair into a candidate who can compete with outsized personalities like Donald Trump and political up-and-comers like Sens. Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz. Aides and supporters describe Bush as a tough and determined campaigner, whose civil demeanor shouldn't be mistaken for a lack of...

U.S. officials are looking into reports that in the frantic evacuation of desperate Afghans from Kabul, older men were admitted together with young girls they claimed as 'brides' or otherwise sexually abused. U.S. officials at intake centers in the United Arab Emirates and in Wisconsin have identified numerous incidents in which Afghan girls have been presented to authorities as the 'wives' of much older men. While child marriage is not uncommon in Afghanistan, the U.S. has strict policies against human trafficking that include prosecutions for offenders and sanctions for countries that don't crack down on it. One internal document seen...

Jeb Bush drifted into the room to a smattering of claps compelled by his aides – sporadic applause that quickly evaporated into the ether once he paused for an autograph. (SNIP) After his remarks, 24-year-old Eddie Failor approached Bush to commend him for hanging tough on immigration reform, another issue that’s raised the ire of conservatives. “Unlike some candidates recently in the news, he hasn’t backed down from what he believes on the issue,” Failor told U.S. News after his exchange, declining to name names.

With his beleaguered campaign burning through cash and his family fast running out of patience, Jeb Bush now sees a loan from Donald Trump as his best path to the Republican presidential nomination. Even as he was still “putting the finishing touches” on his loan application, Mr. Bush sought to cast his decision as “foresighted,” arguing that of all the candidates in the GOP field he is the best positioned to borrow from Mr. Trump. Striding briskly across the stage during a town hall meeting in Nashua, New Hampshire, the sole of his worn right shoe partially separated from the...

The first part of her political ‘treasure hunt‘ was fruitless, to say the least. The people she tried to interview in the beginning appeared to have an opinion, but none of them wanted to share it with her. She later theorized that these were likely Trump supporters who were staying ‘silent’ because of her Biden gear. Eventually, she found a few reluctant Biden “supporters”. But even then, none of them had any real substance as to why they were going to vote for him. Their main argument was that he was “not Trump”. One lady said Joe Biden was going...
