I don’t mean to be crass, but I assume when you say he’s ready to meet his maker, your father has placed his faith and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ for his redemption.
So that he will not die in his sins but his name written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.
I pray that in his transition to eternity there is a minimum of pain and suffering, and the Holy Ghost comforts the family during this trying time.
Anyone who has been through this knows full well how sad and difficult it is.
