According to Gallup, the five states with the highest per capita Catholic populations are those conservative hotbeds of Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Connecticut and New York.

Again, Massachusetts and Texas are about the same in percentage of Catholics. You’ll just have to deal with it.

Also, it is no trap to assert the Catholic Church is the Catholic Church.

I'm amazed at your brilliance!

Likewise, I assert that I am me.

Do you realize that Catholics make up 39% of the Christian population in New York and about 40% of the Christian population in Texas?

Again, Massachusetts and Texas are about the same in percentage of Catholics. You’ll just have to deal with it.

But you didn't factor in the number of Protestants. According to Gallup, the Protestant population of Texas is far higher than it is in the top five Catholic states, including New York.

**No, he was totally defeated.**

Oh, his fate is sealed alright, but he has been a liar and deceiver since Adam walked the earth. And he is still the father of lies, and is still the MASTER deceiver (as Paul described him, “transformed into an angel of light”). Is he deceiving you?

“I’m amazed at your brilliance! Likewise, I assert that I am me.”

I’m amazed at how desperate you seem to succeed at something, at anything.

“But you didn’t factor in the number of Protestants.”

Because the number of Catholics is about the same and your claim rested on the number of Catholics. Now you want to shift to the number of Protestants. Next will you throw in the kitchen sink out of desperation?

I would like to point out the current religious affiliations of each member of the U. S. Supreme Court:

There are six Roman Catholics currently serving on the court (Samuel Alito, Anthony Kennedy, John Roberts, Antonin Scalia, Sonia Sotomayor, and Clarence Thomas) and three Jews (Stephen Breyer, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, and Elena Kagen).

Nary a Protestant Christian.

According to Statemaster, in terms of the percentage of Catholics by state, New York is #6 and Texas is #14. The top eight are solidly "blue" states.

I stand by my statement that the states with the strongest Catholic populations tend to be the most liberal.

His ability to have any effect in this world is solely through the will of man. That was true in the Garden and it is true now. If men were to cooperate with God’s Grace and lived a truly holy and sacramental life, keeping their souls washed clean in the Blood of the Lamb, then there would be no admittance for that scoundrel, and life on this planet would be full of virtue and evil would find no place here.
