Christ instituted the Eucharist at the Last Supper; how can it be blasphemous?

The Scriptures read at each Mass come from the Old Testament, Acts, Psalms and a Gospel of Matthew, Mark, Luke, or John. They are not blasphemous.

What I find puzzling is that many Catholics concede that Protestant Christians CAN be saved and are genuine Christians, while being without that core teaching of the absolute necessity of receiving the Eucharist for salvation.

I’d like a lurking Catholic to explain this. Are these ecumenical Catholics just being devious, or do they not believe Catholic doctrine?

Link does not go to posted article.

Website states site last updated: 30th-April-2015

Yet, your article bears today’s date.

Desperation strikes again.

IMO, you need to pray a lot more and concern yourself a lot less about the Catholic Church.

Maybe you can explain how posting bible verses and what they mean is hate.

OK, my answer is that the bible is not hate. Quoting the bible and expounding on it’s meaning is not hate.

Christ taught “do this in remembrance of me”, not “kill me by your own hand daily in perpetuity”.
Christ took punishment for you, not punished by you.

I'm not a "Lurking Catholic" but the statement seems to be contrary to the Ex Cathedra statements of the Pope

http://www.onetruecatholicfaith.com/Roman-Catholic-Articles.php?id=443&title=1.+The+Chair+of+St.+Peter+on+Outside+the+Catholic+Church+There+is+No+Salvation&category=Outside+the+Catholic+Church+there+is+no+Salvation&page=1

Pope Boniface VIII, Unam Sanctam, Nov. 18, 1302, ex cathedra:

“With Faith urging us we are forced to believe and to hold the one, holy, Catholic Church and that, apostolic, and we firmly believe and simply confess this Church outside of which there is no salvation nor remission of sin… Furthermore, we declare, say, define, and proclaim to every human creature that they by absolute necessity for salvation are entirely subject to the Roman Pontiff.”

The Mass is a re-presentation of the Last Supper.

If I were to point out that following a hand-written map - given to you by your beloved grandfather - would have you driving off a cliff to your certain death, would that be showing love or hate?

IOW, this discussion is not about your “grandfather”, it’s about the “map”...
