Where does this guy come up with this nonsense?
“However, communion is only for those of us that have already been saved from all of our past, present, and future sins; and as such we do so in gratitude for and remembrance of the terrible price that Christ paid for us in dying for our sins to save us from the wrath of God, not in order to ‘be saved’ or to ‘stay saved.’”
This simpleton concept would have us believe that declaring our belief in the risen Christ, then excuses all future behavior.
Christ makes very clear that your “belief” is exemplified in how you live.
Having sinned again YOU must express remorse, resolve to do better, and ask for forgiveness.
Christ’s salvation for us was the opening of the door.
It is up to YOU to choose whether to walk through that door.

“All the evils in the world are due to lukewarm Catholics”.
Ate up with guilt, they spend the rest of their lives belittling the One, Truth Faith. Instead of being happy in their faith they are miserable in their guilt, which is the reason for their continued obsession with all things Catholic.

The non-Catholics that will make it to heaven are the ones that have never been exposed to the Catholic Church, and through no fault of their own are not Catholic, but still live their lives according to the beatitudes. This does not include the scores of fallen away Catholics (worst kind of “protestant”), and other non-Catholics who have been exposed to the One, Truth Faith, and mock it, belittle it and deny the Eucharist. For them God has a special place reserved. I don’t think I need to describe that special place.

We have. If youre not under the auspices of the Catholic Church in its physical form, yer toast.
Please show me where you found this in the Catechism of the Catholic Church.

You might want to do some research on exactly what Catholic doctrine is regarding those Christians who are not Catholic but have been justified by faith in Baptism. It may be different than what you think. Well, why don't YOU tell me. And then I can give you multiple official pronouncements by past popes to contradict your fantasies.

Well, I appreciate you being one of the few honest ones here. There are plenty of posters who would deny what you are saying about:
- lapsed/fallen away Catholics (plenty of those.)
- Protestants who criticize Catholic doctrine (I’m one of those.)
- The vast number of true Christians who deny that the Eucharist is the very body and blood of Christ.
That pretty much covers everyone in the US who is not a Catholic.

Who wrote this screed, anyway?
Something with a title like “The Blasphemy of the Mass” might be considered a high-powered insult to many Catholics.
But don’t worry, we’re not Muslims.

Christ instituted the Eucharist at the Last Supper; how can it be blasphemous? Oh?
There is NO scripture that shows this.
Scripture DOES show; however; that Jesus and the 12 were eating a YEARLY MEAL OF REMEMBERANCE.
Why did ROME think it had to morph that into something that takes place every time you darken the doors of one of it's many churches?

IMO, you need to pray a lot more and concern yourself a lot less about the Catholic Church. IMO, you need to pray a lot more and concern yourself a lot less about Protestantism.

It is not Catholic doctrine that to be saved one must receive the Catholic Eucharist. It is Catholic doctrine that validly receiving the Catholic Eucharist does strengthen one on the road to heaven. Can you POST this doctrine instead of just saying it's out there; somewhere?
