The reason for this article is to determine if the worship/veneration given to Mary by the catholic church is justified from a Biblical perspective. This will be evaluated using the Biblical standard and not man’s standard.
Could you/others be jealous because he seems to know a whole lot more about the Bible than y’all? I enjoy his posts because they are the truth and I have learned a lot from them.
And yet here you are reading them and responding to them. curious that.

Catholics would love to (and attempt to on a daily basis) put all non Catholics into one monolithic organization. It’s the only thing they understand. It’s their attempt to assign the errors of one to the whole. After all, that’s the way the Catholic Church works. All must believe what the hierarchy tells them to.
I will never forget one remark on here. Some one said everyone in the world should be Catholic. I remember thinking, “ wow, one world religion.” Wish I had saved it.
Do not understand the “y’all” reference. I am not a part of any clique or coalition or whatever “y’all” has reference to.

That's exactly what they want and is what the pope is working towards right now. I doubt even he realizes how he is being used of God to set up the end times. Just as the one who will one day soon be the anti Christ. Being used by God isn't always a good thing for the one being used. Witness Judas and Pontius Pilot.
Now that you mention it, why is the commandment “Honor your mother and father”, rather than “Honor your mom and dad”?

If you mean I don’t cherry-pick individual passages and then make them fit whatever hate-filled agenda I have: guilty as charged.
Scripture is a complex and interrelated fabric that defines Christianity and the relationship between Man and God.
It is not for facile dilettante quote-miners such as yourself and others.
I suppose any excuse will work for those who don’t use it or know it.
Words spoken by our Lord and others were in an exchange of ideas and thoughts and meanings.
People not bound by the dictates of the Catholics Church are free to peel the meaning apart.
Catholics forget that Christianity is essentially Judaism.
Salvation came from the Jews...not the Catholics.
The Old Testament points to Jesus...not to the Catholic Church.
