Six Magistrates Have Now Stepped Down Because of Gay Marriage Legalization

Since gay marriage was legalized in North Carolina on Oct. 10, at least six North Carolina judges have resigned from their benches because they do not want to go against their Christian faith and conduct wedding ceremonies for same-sex couples.

While it was reported last week that Rockingham County magistrate John Kallam Jr. and Swain County magistrate Gilbert Breedlove resigned from their positions because of the legalization of gay marriage, media reports have surfaced indicating that at least four other magistrates have done the same.

All six magistrates, Kallam, Breedlove, Bill Stevenson (Gaston County), Tommy Holland (Graham County), Gayle Myrick (Union County) and Jeff Powell (Jackson County) say they are waiting on God to give them direction in starting the next phases of their lives.

Stevenson is the latest judge to have publicized that he has stepped down from his position citing religious conflicts with the newly passed North Carolina marriage law.

Although reports surfaced only just this week that Stevenson had resigned, he issued his resignation on Oct. 16, just six days after same-sex marriage was legalized in the state.

"It was something I had to do out of conscience," Stevenson told NBC's Charlotte affiliate. "I felt like to perform same-sex unions would be in violation of the Lord's commands, so I couldn't do that."

Although Stevenson has only been a magistrate for over a year and a half, he is not concerned that he will be losing his main source of income as North Carolina Magistrates get paid more than $50,000 a year, according to the Winston-Salem Journal.

to revolt against some Federal Judges communistic agenda by trying to tell the States

This isn’t about “religious beliefs”, which can be construed as mere opinions deeply held, it’s about biological reality and natural order. These judges are refusing a command by beast.gov to embrace falsehood and validate delusion. They have said “No” to creating covenants with death (homo marriages) and agreements with hell (bowing to thug government).

Back to the religious violations though, the core issue truly is an abject rebellion to the Creator, because He is the One who created the natural order, in this context fashioning men and women to become one flesh under the marriage covenant. To pervert and redefine marriage is to reject God as the source of reality. The “almighty” beast.gov is powerful enough that it now places itself as “nature’s” god and the highest authority in the land.

The rebellion is also plainly evident in the push for acceptance of the “transgender” abomination. Believing a lie about internal “gender identification” and maiming the human body based on this confusion does not create truth, it destroys the body, soul, and spirit.

Darkness reigns over the land, on a number of levels. Immutable truths form an unending line of witnesses against the depravity and perversion, no matter how much the beast demands that we play pretend.

The mark of the beast is the mark of its character. Falsehood is the dominent “virtue”, followed by the willingness to defame, persecute, destroy and kill those who won’t prop up the lies.

so you are OK if a Judge takes a stand and doesn’t quit but if ANYONE tries to arrest him, he can use ANY means to prevent the arrest including bomb, gun, baseball bat, hoe, axe, sharpened pencil - anything.

And when the news spouts off the sob story that the officer(s) (arrester) had family and was “just doing his job, you’ll chalk it up to that fact that if you do the devil’s work, you open yourself up to any reprisal now matter the outcome.

If you don’t agree with the above, it’s cowardly for you to criticize any Judge. I support any means to stop the evil that is swallowing up our Country. If you do too, then your criticism is valid.
