Magic Underwear & Magic Food

Mormons have some really weird beliefs. For example, many (all) Mormons believe they (males only) can take a cooking/salad oil, pour just a small drop on the crown of your head and their god will heal them of almost anything.

Mormons believe that by wearing ugly underwear bought from a specific company, their god will protect them from harm.

Mormons believe that by wearing a really weird looking costume they are taught secret ways to touch angels so after they die, the angels will let Mormons get into heaven quicker.

Mormons believe their god requires women to not wear outer clothing that covers their crotch (pants) to worship their god in a large and spacious room (chapel).

Mormons believe that a little torn piece of bread and a small sip of water that has been chanted over and then swallowed will require their god to forgive them for their sins.

Mormons believe by consuming certain foods and wearing funny looking clothes god loves them more than the rest of the humans.

It is the same with all parents. We love our children more or less depending upon how ugly their clothes are and how they consume small bits of food items.

The Mormon god must have a sense of humor watching his "SPECIAl" children called Mormons think this makes god love them the most.

So you’re a fellow who does NOT believe that Paul’s writings have any authority?

I don`t know, there are many things Paul said that make a lot of sense but I believe Jesus told us all we need to know to follow him.

But there are MANY who can send us down the WRONG path to Heaven.

If it is to heaven it is not the wrong path .

They are all gone out of the way, they are altogether become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.
—Romans 3:10

Yep, if some one could buy us for what we are worth and then sell us for what we think we are worth they would be very rich.

Please don’t understand my comments to be in support of Romney. Far from it. I see him as just another liberal Northeasterner that has an “R” behind his name.

The point I was making about sneak attacks was that the Low information voter sees what’s going on only superficially. So when they read a post that derides the LDS in the way that was done (there was certainly truth to the post but it was presented in an exaggerated fashion to convince the shallow thinkers that all Mormons were ludicrous as well), they foolishly would tend to believe that all Mormons are just as foolish.

Now whether Greyfoxx39 is a member of the Hillary team or not I have no idea (and could care less); but it should be fairly obvious that it was a post that was planted by some political operative for political reasons and not to advance a religion. But like most everything else that’s posted on this site, it’s just my opinion.

Good God! Get a life. You are so preoccupied with this useless dribble regarding Mormonism. Look into your own Christian (I presume) church and get it cleaned up.

Look at the history of our faith and what a bloodbath we have created: Judaism, Christianity, Muslim. I would also presume that the other religions of the world proclaim some of the same tenants, in that they are correct, you are wrong, therefore you must die.

People that accept Mormonism have had their chance to accept the true faith and have rejected it. Instead of spewing page after page of pointless dibble about how evil Joseph Smith WAS and what God wants us to do, maybe you should cast the plank out of your own eye before wanting to cast out the mote in others eye.

don’t you think if you claim to be a catholic, you should at least TRY to understand what Catholic doctrine is rather than spouting utter nonsense?? then one might at least be able to fool some people. just sayin.

The things listed in this article are either flat our wrong, or gross exagerations posted by people who, for whatever reason, have an axe to grind against the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

All of them?

You DON'T need to wear special underwear to enjoy the present of GOD the Father in Mormon Heaven?

I had the audacity to post this.

I'd think the audacity would be if you REALLY expect folks to believe what's posted without any evidence.

Your comment seems to be suggesting that you regard Mormonism as a legitimate religion.

It IS a 'legitimate' religion; just like Islam, Shintoism, Hinduism.

What it is NO,T is anything that resembles what Christianity has taught for over 2,000 years.

Perhaps if you give what I’m saying a little more thought, you’d realize that the post was not about religion, but about politics.

Evidently I am easily fooled...

Although I do not agree with all of the teachings of your faith I have nothing against it.

Then youy must not be a Christian.

If you ARE; then you must not be very well informed of Biblical teachings.

What you speak of is SIN; not heresy like Mormonism.

If it is to heaven it is not the wrong path .

HEAVEN-The Mormon church teaches there are three levels of heaven (three "degrees of glory"):

Celestial - for Mormons who have kept ALL of the laws and ordinances of their church.
Terrestrial - for religious people who aren't Mormons and for Mormons who have not met the requirements of the Church.
Telestial - where unbelievers go

HELL: A place of torment from which the worst of sinners are resurrected (if they repent) into the Telestial kingdom; only a limited number remain in hell forever, - the devil and the demons and apostates who consciously reject and work against Mormonism.

SALVATION: A word that Mormons qualify in one of three ways: unconditional or general salvation is simply resurrection from the dead, granted to all through Christ's atonement; conditional or individual salvation involves entering the celestial kingdom through works of Mormonism; full salvation means exaltation to become a God as a result of temple ceremonies and other works. The word 'salvation' can have a two-fold meaning: a) forgiveness of sins and b) universal resurrection:

The Mormons have several different levels of "salvation".
