But was he gay? They need to throw in some gay stuff, if they want a Hollywood hit...
Already posted and debunked...

Please pull this thread, the search missed it.
"...Don't miss Monday night's 'Greta' where she and her panel of 'experts' will reveal the startling facts..."
You go Moses! Nefertiti was a total babe!
I liked the original Moses movie much better than this sounds.
Hey wait... maybe the gay angle could be that Moses was really a woman, and the gay angle could be the lesbian affair with Nefertiti, or Nefretari.
Like you were there.
One needs not have been there to make an assertion such as the one I made. Just listen to the messenger of the story and you'll know it's an invention, a fable, to use a euphemism..
Which messenger? I could entertain your idea if there wern't ideas that argue as stongly toward the somewhat literal view.
"Don't you see a disconnect between this statement of one of the defining events that lead people to an understanding of God and your tagline?"
Is NOT that I don't see a disconnect, it's that there is no disconnect at all.
One must first distinguish between the divinity of religion and the organization of religion as a cultural/political/survival tool. As an example to the latter, organized religion gives rise to cultures, as for example Christianity gave rise to Western culture, which is to say a way of life that assures the survivability of the people comprising such a culture. Divinity of religion should not be predicated amongst and within multicultural societies, but only amongst societies that are monocultural. Ideas such as charity, compassion, forgiveness etc should be predicated only amongst one's culture and should not be freely extended to others. Other cultures, of course, can proliferate what they believe appropriate for their survival. Do you believe extending you compassion and forgiveness to members of Al Qaida or other known foes? I wouldn't. Each culture is, in essence, in a struggle for its heritage, culture, freedom and very existence. It has been so since time immemorial, and will continue to be so.
Now, naturally, those who feel threatened by the truth of my ideas, are either afraid to agree with them and, hence, will rebut them, too nincompoopish to understand its significance, or just plain enemies of Western culture.
"In hoc signo vinces."
The "messenger" you wrote of?....
So you disagree with Jesus. OK. I disagree with you.
As to Al Qaida and other enemies... I will extend compassion and forgiveness when they repent of their actions. In the meantime, I will defend myself and my country... and my culture... from them.
SunkenCiv asked you who the messengers were that indicate to you the falseness of Moses and the Old Testament. I ask you the same question... although I suspect I know the answer. Who are the messengers whose messages are not to be trusted?
"I will extend compassion and forgiveness when they repent of their actions."
This is analogous to a man killing another man and the killer then says, "I'm sorry." I don't think I can forgive the killer. Oftentimes, the wrongdoer, asks for forgiveness w/o the contrition.
"In the meantime, I will defend myself and my country... and my culture... from them."
I agree with that.
Though what of contrition, but to God? It's impossible for a murderer to seek the forgiveness of society. So what?
