Prayer Request for A Tiny Baby (Update in post #12850)

If you will, please remember this tiny baby in your prayers. He’s the grandson of a very dear friend of mine. Logan was born on July 25. His due date was in October, making his mommy 26 weeks along, being born 3 months and 3 days early.

Logan was 1 lb 9.4 oz when he was born and is now weighing, as of this morning, 1 lb. 8.3 oz. The little guy is now 12-1/2” long.

He’s a real trooper and is fighting with all his little body can fight with. His Grandma said that he’s starting to recognize his mommy when she comes in the room and hears her voice. She said he tries so hard to open his eyes, and starts kicking his feet.

I asked my friend if there were any specific prayers, other than the obvious…and this is her reply…” A prayer of thanks for the miracle called "Logan.”

On a personal note, I’ve read the emails daily from my friend. I’ve known her for years, I’ve heard her talking about her family for years…but I’ve got to tell you that I’m SO impressed with how her children have all banded together in support. What an incredibly wonderful and loving family.

Father God, we lift up Logan’s little body to you. We pray that you can strengthen him hourly, daily, weekly, until he’s grown enough to go home with his precious family. We ask for guidance for the doctors and nurses who are caring for him. We ask for strength for his parents and extended family. Thank you so much for the gift of life. In Jesus’ Name, Amen

You may or may not be aware, Ben never regained consciousness in the hospital and went to be with The Lord within 3-4 days.

Sadly, the church has been less than . . . well . . . even Christian, to my mind. Lanelle seems to be coping well and getting things slowly in order.

MUCH APPRECIATED AND CERTAINLY SO BY LANELLE. SHE EXPRESSES HER DEEP THANKS FOR ALL SUCH.

She says their time together was well worth it.

She had not anticipated ever marrying again. But she ran with what was offered and they had incredible happiness and productivity together in the time they had.

I'm just thrilled she can say it was all worth it. She's quite a trooper in her own right. She has reached out extensively to people hurting on the net and otherwise.

She, also, is quite a 'bird of rare plumage' but accepts her identity and the roles she and God carve out for her in her years remaining--she accepts all that with uncommon grace and peace, to my observation.

SHE GREATLY APPRECIATES the prayers and caring hereon. It's just not her interest or style to do the FR thing. Have tried to interest her many times before. She feels much more led to reach out to people on a few selected Christian web groups. And, she ministers a LOT of caring and listening thereon. She's also quite a prayer warrior in her own right.

Your prayers for her contribute significantly to The Kingdom.

I am so thrilled to hear about Logan's continued progress. He has overcome so many hurdles. I see the latest pictures you posted and see a happy and healthy-looking little bundle. Although he still has a ways to go, I know he will grow and thrive because he has so many of us sending our love and best wishes.
This Christmas is going to an extra special event in Logan's home. I wish I could be there to see the joy and love he brings to his Mommy's and Daddy's hearts and to all those close to him. I will have to be satisfied with the pictures. But, just to know the little sprout is growing and getting stronger is enough to make me happy.

No, it is not the frst time here and I have read the whole thread. I've been around here, and posting too, not a newbie. Thanks for the Blessing in your post. My heart and prayers go out to God's precious gift " Logan " and all the family. The might power of prayer in Jesus name is awesome. After all, He is still in the business of performing miracles. :)
