Fani Willis' Fight to Keep Her Job Is Over (multiple new witness testimonies declined)

Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis' fight to remain on the prosecution in former President Donald Trump's Georgia election interference case is over.

After the end of closing arguments, Judge Scott McAfee, who is presiding over the case, said he would make a decision on disqualifying her within the next two weeks. Trump's attorneys told the judge they had multiple new witness testimonies that had just come to light that morning, but McAfee refused to admit them because the defense hadn't had a chance to examine the evidence.

McAfee signaled to Trump's attorneys that he may not need any more evidence to make his decision on whether or not to disqualify Willis from the case. Trump and his co-defendants in the Fulton County case have pushed to have the district attorney and her office removed from the prosecution over misconduct allegations stemming from her romantic relationship with special prosecutor Nathan Wade.

"I'd like to hear more of how some of the legal arguments apply to what has already been presented, and it may already be possible for me to make a decision without those needing to be material to that decision," McAfee said.

Willis and Wade's relationship was first revealed in a January court filing from co-defendant Michael Roman's attorney Ashleigh Merchant, who argued that their relationship was a conflict of interest that should lead to Willis' removal from the case and for the charges against her client to be dropped. Willis and Wade have maintained that their relationship did not begin until after Wade's appointment to the case.

The judge is going to bend over ackwqrds to save Fawni.

Why? Because he is up for election in Fulton County in 3 months. The judge does not want the big bad Black election machine used against him.

MOre evidence would make that harder to do for the judge.

I hope I am wrong. But the additional evidence needs to be heard...an appeal court might send it back to hear that evidence.

She should be prosecuted for perjury and disbarred. She and Wade also should be required to pay back taxpayer money they stole.

She was put where she is for a reason by people with power.

The reason is still operational.

Therefore, she will remain.

She’s Teflon. Nothing will happen.

She certainly thinks she’s Teflon-coated, and she may not be wrong.

How else can someone under such damning scrutiny act so outlandishly brasen about it on the witness stand?

My opinion - Fani, Wade and the entire Fulton County DA office is disqualified in a very narrow ruling that attempts to preserve the integrity of the Fulton County legal system.

The finding will be based on the appearance of impropriety and ignore any other aspects of the case.

The Judge will then pass the case on to some other entity that will either reassign or end the case. The heavy lifting on follow up will be done by the Georgia Senate investigation and will result in criminal referrals and expose the lawfare conspiracy

She needs to be taken off the case and in a fair world lose her license. If this was the Bar of a by gone era there is no question they would take her license. Unfortunately the Bar is filled with people whose ethics are no better than hers.

The black grift business has not peaked yet. Pretty soon all clothing magazines will feature all-black models. Whites are being socially exterminated.

They aren’t going to back off of that trend.

The election is for a different position. He just started in this position.

I really like this judge...he's very open and he's not stupid. I see him as politically neutral for this case. After all, the end game is about Trump...not Fani. She's cooked...and they fact that she's already been reported to the Bar...and everyone knows Wade and Willie perjured themselves is drumming in the background.

Naw. She’s gonna be Hillaried/Biden.. Ok, yeah she did all that stuff.. but so what. That’s the way the judge’s statement reads to me.

“The fix is in. I can feel it.”

I disagree. I think he is going to rule Willis has a conflict of interest or at least an appearance of conflict. The judge said he would have a ruling in two weeks. It wouldn’t take that long to write a ruling in which he rules against the defendants. One page would suffice and could be done over the weekend and only need to cite a couple of cases to support such an opinion..

A ruling to disqualify will take longer and be more in-depth and well-cited so as to survive appeal and the scrutiny of the left-wing media. The judge knows every person is going to be looking for any error so it will be very well-written and researched.
