The official Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) straw poll asking attendees who Donald Trump should pick as his running mate yielded some interesting results.
The poll, which surveyed the largely MAGA faithful in attendance at the CPAC event in Maryland, found that South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem and entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy were tied as the top choice as Trump's running mate, winning 15 percent of the vote respectively.
Next in line was former Democratic Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard, who is reportedly set to endorse Trump by headlining a fundraiser for him at his resort in Mar-a-Lago in March.
In third place, also tied, with eight percent, were New York Rep. Elise Stefanik and South Carolina Sen. Tim Scott, both of whom have enthusiastically backed the former president's campaign.

Former Trump HUD Secretary, Dr. Ben Carson, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, and Arkansas Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders all scored five percent, while Tucker Carlson and Independent 2024 presidential candidate, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. scored four and three percent, respectively.

Kristi Noem would be a terrible choice. She’s more with the Establishment and there is a sex scandal just waiting to erupt. Vivek would be a MUCH better choice.
The glib, attention-seeker Vivek’s unwillingness to take a back seat being VP is his biggest challenge.
He’ll always be looking to advance his own political ambitions rather than supporting the president.
A vp pick must bring something to the race.....like constituencies
Trump does not currently have...........to name one attribute needed.

JDV does nothing to help win the election demographically or geographically. He might even hurt. There’s no synergy there.
Don’t put that idea on a shelf because maybe Ross is hiring.

PDJT should avoid any senator for VP. The reasons are many but the primary reason is that tapping an R senator invokes the chance that the D fraud machine will flip the seat. Also most R senators have no real world experience, have never met a payroll, etc. Many, like Cornyn, are placeholders just waiting for the deep-state to finish filling their rice bowl so they can retire.
How so?
Cross reference that VP list with any participants in the last 8 Sea Island, Georgia GOP Retreats. Immediately eliminate anyone who was attending.
Sea Island has become the center of the Republican anti-Trump faction.
Gabbard is a leftist, Marxist, gun grabbing, reparations & Dreamer advocate, who believes in climate change.

Why anyone Right of center would consider her a viable
candidate for VP, I can’t figure out.
If Trump chooses her for VP, I’m writing in Rand Paul for President.
She won’t even have a say in gay rights as VP. However, I’m concerned that she runs a state that has no people. That’s the easiest state to govern in the country.

She was ambassador to the UN and her failure there is apparently the source of her vindictive hatred for Trump
His pick will tell us what issue is our biggest threat. Is it, border, war, economy or deep state because that threat is going to need 8 years at least.
Noem, Ramaswamy, Gabbard.
Of those 3, only Noem could be considered. VR is not NBC so couldn’t be POTUS if something were to happen to Trump. Gabbard is anti-gun and pro-abortion. WHAT IS WRONG WITH THESE ALLEGED MAGA PEOPLE?
