Russia Points North – "You Will Suffer First of All"

"Russia has never threatened Finland in modern history. We had no reason for confrontation," said Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov, according to the Russian state news agency Tass.

The tone intensified further after Finland announced a few days before Christmas that it was initiating a new defense agreement with the USA, granting the country access to 15 bases on Nordic soil.

Both Sweden and Finland applied for NATO membership last year after Russia initiated a full-scale invasion of Ukraine, fundamentally shaking the security situation in Europe.

Sweden's application is still pending approval, while Finland formally joined the defense alliance as a full member last spring. Consequently, the country transitioned from a neutral state to a "hostile actor," according to the Putin regime, which is now issuing a harsh warning against Sweden's neighboring country.

According to Russia, Finland will not only taste the consequences of joining NATO. The country will also be first in line to suffer if tensions between Russia and the Western world escalate further, warns Russian diplomat Mikhail Ulyanov, as reported by Reuters.

"They have lived in peace and suddenly found themselves between Russia and NATO as a member of that alliance," Ulyanov stated.

"Will Suffer First" Mikhail Ulyanov, serving as the permanent representative of Russia to international organizations in Vienna, adds:

"But since they are our neighbors, if God forbid there is any escalation, they will be the first to suffer."

"A Big Mistake" Russia has repeatedly issued warnings against Finland recently, not only due to NATO membership. The fact that Finland closed its eastern border in November also provoked the Putin regime.

"One cannot send a clearer signal than this. We are now defending Finland together if someone attacks us," said Defense Minister Antti Häkkänen at a press conference.

The Finns will deploy their transgender troops, and the Russians will be sorry!

The Finnish First Poofter Division is training with their assault makeup kits as we speak.

“Russia may have thrown a hissy fit but that didn’t stop our deployment of them.”

Wanna bet? We stepped back from deploying them in 2009 when the Obama administration cancelled the plan.

It was only AFTER Russia invaded Ukraine in February, 2022
— years later — that TWO Patriot batteries were sent to Poland. The Patriot system is designed to counter and destroy incoming short-range ballistic missiles, advanced aircraft and cruise missiles. DEFENSIVE in nature. Designed to take out INCOMING offensive weapons.

There is now a proposed EIS (European Interceptor Site) set to go on line early in 2024.

What you and your fellow 2 digit IQ neocons are ignoring is that we are $34 trillion in unpayable debt. That presents a huge threat to us that needs to be dealt with. The last thing we need is the continuation of these endless wars that accomplish little or nothing except to further push us into debt. The only people it benefits are our corrupt Oligarchs who have a heyday laundering money and getting bribes from the military industrial complex. They are playing you neocon supporters for fools.

“...making the case for NATO and Finland to make a first strike against Russia ...”

We get this combined with claims from the same Zeepers that NATO is not a threat to Ruissia, and the Russians are just being paranoid.

For Russia, maybe history started in 1991.

For Cold War Nostalgists, history ended in 1991 and nothing has changed since.

Russia is not your enemy

Sure it is, just look at their actions

Otherwise, why does Russia have all those nuclear warheads pointed at us?

Why does Russia keep threatening us with attacks?

Friendly countries don't do that ...

LOL how do you figure that? Russia, China, and their BRICS partners are quickly establishing an economic block that poses a serious economic challenge to the US and the rest of the West.

The BRICs are a joke. Since the Ukraine invasion, India has bought 30 billion dollars worth of Russian oil. Paid for this oil in Rupees, which are a non-convertible currency. That are not usable on world markets. Rubles and Rupees are clown currencies that no other nations want. Meanwhile paper US dollars and paper Euros are used worldwide. Everyone in the 2nd and 3rd world loves to have some.

https://markets.businessinsider.com/news/currencies/russia-ruble-crash-india-rupees-oil-exports-ukraine-war-sanctions-2023-8#:~:text=He%20estimated%20that%20Russia%20has%20sent%20%2430%20billion,and%20imported%20%246%20billion-%247%20billion%20worth%20of%20products.

Former Kremlin official blames the ruble's crash on Russia's stockpile of rupees that's stranded in India

Mikhail Zadornov, Russia's former minister of finance, attributed the ruble's recent crash to the Kremlin's stockpile of rupees that are stuck in India.

In an opinion piece for RBC, a local outlet, the economist called for the Russian Central Bank to intervene in the exchange rate markets, citing that the ruble's levels would not organically reorient themselves under today's environment.

In his view, the ruble's current 95-per-dollar level is in part the result of Russia's inability to convert rupees it earned via exports into its own currency, leaving the rupees stranded.

Energy trade between the countries blossomed since Russia was restricted by Western sanctions, but Moscow soon found out that the rupees used in the trade have little use in most global markets.

"We have nothing to buy in India, but we cannot return these rupees, because the rupee is an inconvertible currency," Zadornov wrote. He estimated that Russia has sent $30 billion worth of oil-related products to India, and imported $6 billion-$7 billion worth of products.

The economist also cited other factors, such as stimulus given out to Russians. When this happens, demand for imports rises, therefore pushing the ruble down.

He said the ruble could return to 85 against the dollar, if Russia abandons stimulus and the central bank tightens monetary policy. Among other ideas, he added that future export agreements should be met with repatriation requirements.

Zadornov's writings caught the attention of the Kremlin. It's state-run Tass agency said Russia's Energy Ministry denied he statements that stranded rupees weakened the ruble.

Moscow previously has acknowledged that Russia has accumulated billions of rupees that are sitting in Indian banks.

What is this “Western civilization” of which you speak ?

Something in a museum ?

Something in an old black and white silent movie ?

Yes Russia got stuck with a bunch of Rupees but they had to sell oil and gas to whoever they could because of sanctions. India is becoming increasingly industrialized so eventually Russia can unload those Rupees back on India once India has enough products that Russia can use. Considering all the sanctions against Russia their economy has held up amazingly well under the circumstances.

Like I’ve said I’m a realist who tries to look at things objectively. Some of you simpleminded clowns are of the US #1 love it or leave it variety with your mindless cheering on of whatever our deep state globalists decide to do as if that’s being patriotic or something. Being patriotic means being America first, and the actions of our corrupt neocon globalists are anything but that. They have ladened us with unpayable debt and are quickly making us a pariah to the rest of the world. None of this is in America’s interest.

Regarding fellow countrymen, I will remind all here that the biggest danger to our country right now is being orchestrated by the thugs in DC, who are supposedly our fellow countrymen. I have much more faith in Moscow than any democRAT globalist or RINO, any day of the week. Our government has turned on us and has turned on the Constitution.

My fellow countrymen are my neighbors and friends, and some family members, but not to the SOBs in DC that are deliberately and systematically destroying our own nation. While we sit here debating things that aren’t our concern.

And since nobody sees a problem with putting nuclear weapons on Russia’s border, I’m sure that nobody would object to the same in Cuba.

What can Finland’s armed forces and arsenal offer NATO?

Further armed encroachment on Russia….and their own demise in the blink of an eye. They just jumped out of the pot into the fire……all on advice from a senile old man.
