Not only are you a liar, you are a fraud: You fill your profile with scripture and religion yet lie with wild abandon. Does your religion countenance lying?

Zeepers. In a world of their own imagination.

Emotional and fact free.

Nice try, kid. I proved you are a liar and a fraud (unless you religion countenances the latter; does it, kid?).

Maybe it also has to do with the fact we are funding another war in perhaps the most corrupt country in the world. Maybe it’s because we may in fact be the most corrupt country funding a war in another country to enrich our government and MIC.

“Maybe it also has to do with the fact we are funding another war in perhaps the most corrupt country in the world.”

You do know, don’t you, that studies have shown that Russia is more corrupt than Ukraine (though not by a hell of a lot)?

“Maybe it’s because we may in fact be the most corrupt country funding a war in another country to enrich our government and MIC.”

Oh, we’re corrupt; no doubt about it. But in the scheme of things, we are the bastion of honesty and integrity compared to many. That in no way is an excuse; it’s just putting things in perspective. There has never in human history been a government or society that was without corruption.

Just stop. You are really bad at war.
———-
A history lesson for you- History records they defeated the Nazis. Germany lost far more by the hands of the Soviet Union Army than all the Allies combined.

And they were losing before the US came in and gave them a bunch of stuff to fight with. The US and UK defeated the Nazis and Imperial Japan. The dear soviets socialists who were enjoying the benefits they were getting from their dear friends the national socialists prior to getting attacked were losing. Badly.

I know this fact annoys all the people who want to worship before the New Soviet Man but they sucked at war and still suck at war because they have no idea how to do logistics.

The agreement, signed in September 2014, allows NATO and Finland to hold joint exercises on Finnish soil and permits assistance from NATO members in situations such as “disasters, disruptions, and threats to security”. As such, Finland (and Sweden) participated in the 2015 NATO-led Arctic Challenge … See more

That’s all true. But that’s not what the FReeper to whom I was responding wrote about: He said that the US specifically (he said “we;” so, unless he’s a foreigner, and has lied on his profile page, “we” means the US) put 15 bases in Finland on Russia’s border, and we have unfettered access to them. His statement is not true. Those bases are Finnish installations, and the proposed agreement is that NATO can use them conditionally (certainly not “unfettered” access). Moreover, the Finnish parliament has not yet approved the agreement.

I guess I should’ve gone ahead and thrown the ol’ “/sarc” tag on there

If ever there was a country with full-on Stockholm syndrome regarding the Soviets, it was 1950’s/60’s Finland.

The Winter War, in November 1939, seems to refute the claim that Russia has never had ill will toward Finland.

Or does that war not count because it was the Soviets who invaded Finland and not Russia?

Russia can’t defeat Ukraine try as it may. So why is Putin making these empty threats? In order to build up his “Russia against the West” spiel. It’s domestic fodder. Like Obama’s bluff and redlines.

We often forget, that when world leaders spout off, that their bull shitte remarks are primarily for domestic consumption. They all do this.

“8. Created a cottage industry for videos of exploding Russian things.”

Yours is a good list! On Twitter videos, people joke at the turret tossing. How far the turret flies upward and away from the exploding Russian tank. There were two spectacular winners this week. Then I thought of the Russian tankers inside, who had died in a millisecond.

Same as many of those onboard the Rus ship/troop carrier that was sunk about 8 days ago. Probably by British Storm Shadow missiles.

“Russians sucked at war and still suck at war because they have no idea how to do logistics.”

They still have not palletized their war materials shipments. Trucks and trains arriving in Ukraine, have to be unloaded manually, box by box. No forklifts used.

The Russians have always treated their enlisted military like crap and once it became the USSR they also treated their officers like crap. They have conscription, no NCO culture and no interest in logistics.

Sure they can put a lot of people on the field and that quantity has a quality all of it's own but the only time the Russian army was even partly supplied was when the US and UK were doing it for them.

If they ever learn from their mistakes they will become formidable.
