"Walmart has been the world's largest company by revenue since 2014."

Whatever do these stores have in common that Walmart, one of the most profitable companies on the planet, is going to shutter them?

Maybe this map will help:

They just remodeled the one close to me in TN.

Made it more spacious, which makes me think they have reduced stock.

The thing is, Leftists WANT Walmarts to close, wherever possible, since they often fought tooth-and-nail back when Walmart was opening new stores, especially in the cities. They simply DESPISE the idea of their voters having the freedom to shop where they please.

...so expect more openings.

I remember when the Walmart family asked Ford how much they wanted for GT40 chassis 1075 parked in their museum.
They made Ford an offer they couldn’t refuse.

My first thought is they should concentrate more on their business before they go the way of JC Pennys.

I’m starting to wonder if they’re losing business because people like me supporting smaller businesses? All of the smaller “mom and pop” places I frequent have been far more crowded than just a few years ago.

Last year they closed the only Walmart in the City of Pittsburgh, ostensibly because of “low profitability” but the word on the street was excessive shoplifting.

If Walmart closed in my location, then the few other grocery stores we have here would offer NO competition as compared to very little as it is.

I can’t believe that I’d ever see the United States be so full of corrupted and sick maggots that retailers would start closing down their stores due to the high rates of thievery. The RAT turd roller politicians did this with their dumbass laws declaring crap like shoplifting up to $750 dollars per visit is not a crime and the cops would not arrest anyone doing it. It only made sense to a normal person that retailers would not put up with that turd roller horsesh*t. It’s their job to make money not put stuff on the shelves for azhos to help themselves to.

Don’t overlook the Dollar General impact. We used to say that Walmarts were being built on every corner. Now we say that about DG.

The answer in one small NE Mississippi town that had a Wal Mart across from the housing projects was to build another away from the projects and close the one next to the projects. When it was across the street from the projects theft was high, they would steal their items and run across the street where they could hide easily without any help from the residents to identify the thieves. Except for the projects the demographics were as expected.

I use to have a friend that lived in a small town in Alabama and they had a small Walmart which they shut down. I remember him saying quote
"they shut down our small Walmart, more stuff was going out the back door then the front door"
I don't think I need to say anymore.

The cops are pretty much camped out at the local Walmart . The last 2 months or so, they are there every day. I think the cops are moonlighting for WalMart on their off days.
