I’m starting to wonder if they’re losing business because people like me supporting smaller businesses? All of the smaller “mom and pop” places I frequent have been far more crowded than just a few years ago.

Walmart is losing business because their clientele are not the most savoy group of individuals, the self checkouts, tye long lines. I hit dollar general 10:1 over walmart. If I have to go to walmart I need about 10 minutes to psyche myself up to walk thru that cesspool.

No, most of these appear to be in the cities and they are probably shoplifted to ruins on a daily basis.

I make a point of stopping at Walmarts in several states when I travel.

One thing I look at is what items are locked up.

Flashlights and headlight bulbs are locked up..

Some supplements in a few places.

The other thing some stores have is monitors that show the customers in cosmetic aisles.

One store had condoms locked up.

Some have the one way gates to slow the people doing carry out theft of large items.
