"Walmart has been the world's largest company by revenue since 2014."
Whatever do these stores have in common that Walmart, one of the most profitable companies on the planet, is going to shutter them?
Maybe this map will help:

Curious about the closure in Bentonville, Arkansas. That’s a nice area and isn’t the Walmart headquarters there too?

1200 Shinglecreek Parkway is in Brooklyn Center MN just north of Minneapolis. It has a large reparations-seeking shoplifting population.

Maybe this map will help What an amazing list of upscale neighborhoods! Obviously the upscale retailers are squeezing Walmart out of those markets. (Do I really need a sarcasm tag?)

There are so many Walmart stores in Bentonville-Rogers AR that closing one will not matter. They have closed several there to drive more business to nearby larger Walmart stores. There is a Walmart market just a couple of miles west of the one that is closing.

The most interesting fact presented by that graphic is that apparently a Walmart in Sam Walton’s home town of Bentonville is being closed.
