Sorry, I read these stats and think, if your only source of knowledge is school... your kids won’t amount to much. I worked and raised kids and always kept abreast of what they did in school. Taught them additional subjects, such as actual world history, philosophy and art, second language,just so they received a basis in the humanities. Additionally, I had my dad train them in chess... gave them a terrific advantage in mathematics.
You would think that by accident at least one child in each school would have basic math skills.
However, it is obvious a big failure on the teachers’ and administrations’ part. There should be one child who WANTS to learn if the information was presented in a reasonable manner.
Part went down their gullets with FREE MEALS.
I told my kids from Day One, you are responsible for your education, not the school, not the teachers, they are there to supplement your education.
Blacks from the Caribbean republics come to America and do quite well. They are educated, have no chip on a racist shoulder, and are not devoted to twerking, cheap food and weed (with the exception of Jamaica which is the exception and should be excluded every which way, especially touristically).

It goes to pay for travel to training conferences, ongoing education for the staff, and lots and lots of support staff. Everyone with full benefits and pensions of course.
Sadly, that's somewhat true.
When my daughter was in elementary school in early 1980s she and a black kid named Michael were the best students in their classes. When they got to 7th and 8th grades, Michael's grades went to hell in a handbasket, so my daughter asked him why. He said making good grades in school marked him as "too white" in his neighborhood, so he quit trying. I'm not sure if he even finished high school.
And Biden wants to give teachers raises.
Privatize all schools.
Sorry to see my old elementary school on the math list. That was a great school—sixty years ago. Of course, the town itself has pretty much gone down the drain since then, too.
or, the routine democrat solution “more money for education”. When they get it, they vote themselves (administrators) huge raises, and award the tenured professors huge raises.
The crumbs left over go to the schools and maybe a few to the classrooms themselves.

I was part of a vocational training company that was asked to come into Chicago. There were already 10-20 trainers, but people were not obtaining jobs. Almost every other job trainer already in Chicago provided a transportation voucher, and at least one meal. My company did no such thing. The training model was 4-8 months. Once you were close to mastering your vocation, you spent more time in interviews and job search, while still coming to the Center to maintain skills. You did not leave the training program until you were employed. I write all this to relate the following story. Before the Center opened, I answered the phones. Many prospects called and asked about the transportation vouchers and lunches. We did not have any of that. When the caller asked ‘well, just what do you provide’ I would answer ‘a job.’. Often, they would say, over and over ‘a what? ‘ a job?’. They were so used to going from trainer to trainer, getting their transport and lunch, for years, with no job in the mix. The other trainers HATED us because we were there, taking, according to them, ‘their’ $$$.
Easier to just ban testing. Keep the math and reading books for when parents show up.
Put the demographics of the school district teachers and administration and compare it to schools with the numbers of whites to blacks opposite to what these schools are. I think it would be telling. Another would be the numbers of teachers that are Democrats versus Republican would also be notable. I substituted for a primarily all white school and the Democrat/Republican ratio was also notable with the students barely able to average 17 on an ACT test.

Just ban wrong answers. Everyone gets a trophy for trying.
They’ll just dumb down the curriculum so the kids are passing.
But I bet half or more of the students can explain why math is racist.
