Nikki Haley announces presidential campaign: 'It's time for a new generation of leadership'

Former South Carolina governor and UN Ambassador Nikki Haley announced Tuesday that she is running for president, seeking the Republican nomination for the 2024 election.

In a video message posted on Twitter, Haley touted her record as South Carolina's governor, while looking to the future and the needs of the country.

"It's time for a new generation of leadership," Haley stated.

Haley identified numerous threats facing the country, from the "socialist left" to Russia and China, warning that there are those who see the United States as vulnerable.

"They all think we can be bullied, kicked around. You should know this about me, I don't put up with bullies, and when you kick back it hurts them more if you're wearing heels."

We need another Reagan. Solidly and unapologetically conservative, straightforward and honest, yet exudes class and style and won’t be a gaffe machine.

Where ARE these types anymore? They’re all RINO sellouts or just hot political potatoes. Love DeSantis, but don’t want him to leave Florida.

Sod off, troll.

Natural born means born of two citizen parents who were both citizens when she was born.

And the sending her back is *exile* as a punishment for attempting to subvert the Constitution in such a fundamental way.

Go befriend yourself in a close and personal fashion.

“You can’t take away something that was her birthright. If it could be taken from her, it could also be taken from you.”

It already has been. Take off your blinders so that you can see the big picture.

'It's time for a new generation of leadership'

Translation: There are a lot more statues to pull down, building names to change, street names to change, culturally inappropriate things to change.

How quickly will she rise among the 3%-ers? There are going to be around 2 dozen vying for the 1% to 3%. Few will rise above that.

She and trump Luke make a great pair…. He gave u mail in ballots, masking, billions to big phrma, lockdowns, restrictions in travel unless you’re an unvetted Syrian, no freedom to assemble, unless you’re burning cities…
So what we missing from his destruction…. Well the bumpstock ban as anti 2A … so it wasn’t that.
Nicki removed the confederate flag from the state house in SC….
So his handover to fauci and gates would be complete with Haley’s denial of history.

Even if a new generation of leadership is needed, it is not Nikki Haley.

The phrase "new generation" is code for not Donald Trump. DeSantis has shown he can be a very successful governor but only Trump has proven that he can be successful as POTUS. The rest have not shown yet that they measure up. If I were running things, I would let Trump do the cleanup on aisle 4 and then ride off into the sunset. Then it's time for DeSantis, Paul, or someone else from the new generation.

Supreme Court precedent
In Minor v. Happersett (1874), all children born in the United States were divided into two categories: those whose parents were U.S. citizens, and
those whose parents were not. The Court used the term “natural born citizen” only in reference to members of the first category. The Court doubted
whether members of the second category were even citizens, let alone natural born citizens [22]:
The Constitution does not, in words, say who shall be natural-born citizens. Resort must be had elsewhere to ascertain that. At
common-law, with the nomenclature of which the framers of the Constitution were familiar, it was never doubted that all children born in
a country of parents who were its citizens became themselves, upon their birth, citizens also. These were natives, or natural-born
citizens, as distinguished from aliens or foreigners. Some authorities go further and include as citizens children born within the
jurisdiction without reference to the citizenship of their parents. As to this class there have been doubts, but never as to the first. (Minor
v. Happersett, 1874).
Since a child acquires “natural born citizen” status only at birth [07], and since the Supreme Court (in Minor v. Happersett) “distinguished” natural
born citizens from aliens or foreigners, it follows that natural born citizens are persons who, when born, are not aliens or foreigners, i.e., are neither
foreign-born nor foreign citizens/subjects.

subject to U.S. “jurisdiction” at the time of your birth or naturalization.
According to the framers and sponsors of the 14th Amendment, the word “jurisdiction”, as used in the 14th Amendment citizenship clause, means
sole and complete U.S. jurisdiction, i.e., not subject to any foreign power (Question 12: Jurisdiction). Children born in the United States, of foreign-
citizen parents, are subject to the jurisdiction of the foreign country to which their parents owe allegiance.
Two Supreme Court opinions — Slaughter-House Cases (1872) and Elk v. Wilkins (1884) — affirmed the framers’ originally-intended meaning of
“jurisdiction”. In both cases, a child born on U.S. soil, of alien parents, is not subject to U.S. jurisdiction at birth; such child is subject to the
jurisdiction of the foreign government to which the child’s father owes allegiance. Consequently, such child is not a 14th Amendment citizen at birth
[26].
Since his father was a British national, President Obama was subject to British jurisdiction at birth. His citizenship status at birth was “governed” by

Maybe she’s running for VP, because her 3% support won’t win her the nomination for President.
