Former South Carolina governor and UN Ambassador Nikki Haley announced Tuesday that she is running for president, seeking the Republican nomination for the 2024 election.
In a video message posted on Twitter, Haley touted her record as South Carolina's governor, while looking to the future and the needs of the country.
"It's time for a new generation of leadership," Haley stated.
Haley identified numerous threats facing the country, from the "socialist left" to Russia and China, warning that there are those who see the United States as vulnerable.
"They all think we can be bullied, kicked around. You should know this about me, I don't put up with bullies, and when you kick back it hurts them more if you're wearing heels."

Trump will have no problem beating these 2-dimensional cardboard insider GOPe hacks and any election fraud shenanigans in the primaries. The general it will be tough.
Yes, but she and the other dozen-plus candidates that will run for the GOP nomination will only be there to draw off enough electoral votes to keep Trump from winning on the first ballot of the GOP convention. They want to push it into a brokered convention where the ‘leadership’ can find and excuse to throw out Trump. We are going to see a plethora of seemingly-unfeasible candidates declare in the next several months.

Trump surely recognizes that Haley serves a very useful purpose of diluting support among the establishment GOP voters. I’m sure he can’t wait until the rest of the bucketful of @ssholes gets in the race — Sununu, Hogan, Christie, Pence, etc.
