The phrase "new generation" is code for not Donald Trump. DeSantis has shown he can be a very successful governor but only Trump has proven that he can be successful as POTUS. The rest have not shown yet that they measure up. If I were running things, I would let Trump do the cleanup on aisle 4 and then ride off into the sunset. Then it's time for DeSantis, Paul, or someone else from the new generation.

Weak thinking. No one can prove how they would do as president before they are president. Trump, Reagan etc. Trump did prove to be a very successful president, but did you know this ahead of time? “Only Trump” gives you away.
