A 6-year-old who shot his teacher allegedly told another educator he wanted to light her on fire and watch her die, according to a report.
Last month, the troubled boy nearly made good on his apparent murderous impulses, shooting first grader teacher Abigail Zwerner at Richneck Elementary School in Newport News., Va., officials have said. Zwerner survived.
Zwerner and other Richneck teachers said they had shared their fears about the child’s grave behavior with administrators, only to have their concerns downplayed or ignored, The Washington Post reported.
Zwerner had asked for support with the boy, and expressed concerns about his behavior, teachers wrote in online messages to Newport News Superintendent George Parker III.
Abigail Zwerner was reportedly finally released from the hospital this week. “She had asked for help,” one school staff member wrote in the chat.
“Several times,” another added.
The child, who was known to throw furniture and other objects in the classroom, once wrote a note to a teacher in which he told her hated her, wanted to set her on fire to kill her, the teachers union told The Washington Post. When she brought the disturbing letter to school administrators, they told her to drop it, according to the teacher.

I read Newport News, and I didn’t have to look.
BTW, there is a plaque along the waterfront in Newport News that says that half of all troops embarking for Europe during World War II, left from that small port. It might even be true. I was visiting there almost weekly in August 2001. Then things changed.

Seems like in most cases of people setting other people on fire, the perps have been black. At least in the cases I’m aware of. The fact that he was talking about burning the teacher was another clue about his race. I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s been under the influence of older kids who are tuned into social media that brags about that kind of thing.

I read elsewhere the parents were actively involved and concerned and working with the school and therapists about his violent personality. One parent was supposed to be in the room with him during class and this had been the first day in weeks that he was on his own.

Yep. Propaganda works. And it especially works when there is no push-back, as is currently in the United States.
Propaganda works with all races. Fritz is a nice young German boy in 1935. Then four years later he’s shooting undesirable children in the back of the head.
