During CNN’s coverage of the House Speaker votes on Friday, Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX) said that it is unfortunate that House Speaker Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) “came to investigate, intimidate, and to deny the American people the benefits of this country.” And “That is going to be the difference” between Republicans and Democrats in the House.
Jackson Lee stated, “You can understand by messages that we came to legislate and protect the American people through Mr. Jeffries’ leadership. And unfortunately, Speaker McCarthy came to investigate, intimidate, and to deny the American people the benefits of this country. That is going to be the difference. So, the question would be answered very quickly to say I am concerned if the focus is going to be on investigation, and, as well, a payback to all of the agreements that had to be made in order to achieve the speakership. Mr. McCarthy will have to assess whether he makes his mark on some of the more high moral ground statements he made about the betterment of America and unity or whether it’s going to be brought down by the fistfights of the divisiveness in his caucus.”

And... “You know who I is...cracka? You bettah hab mah seat at the first class bulkhead on dis plan” I’se impotent!”
Please, notice me. And while your at it—check out her “residence” in Houston that doubles as a political machine gangnam payment collection office, and patronage distribution.
Woman is a lying, criminal bag lady for the dems. Never forget her caught on camera handing a CASH filled envelope to the LIB lawyers “representing” Mizzzz Blase’ Ford claiming SCOTUS nominee raped her 40 years ago. ON camera LEE was caught trying to sneak the envelope into the dude lawyer’s hand-— and the camera in full caught a photo! Proving she is a butt girl for the LGBTQDNC a@@clowns.
Vent over.
Jackson Lee is one of the stupidest members of Congress. And loves to run her gums and say outrageous things.
She should be on The View with Whoopi, Joy and Sonny.
Slowly, but surely, conservatives need to focus on teaching their friends and relatives and coworkers about the inherent evils of wealth distribution. At least when a Representative makes an idiotic remark like this, a wider swath of the public might stop and think: “Wait...she wants to steal my money to do this.”
Gaetz was all smiles last night with this idiot. It’s all a damn game designed to keep us in line.
Unfortunately, this idiot thinks the millions and millions of ILLEGALS who’ve invaded this country are “the American People.”
The benefits of this country should only extend to those who are American Citizens and to LEGAL immigrants. I can understand her attitude; she very likely owes her House Seat to illegals voting illegally.
No, that idiot negro female didn’t sleep through Russia-collusion investigations, two impeachments, and the January 6 witch-hunt. She participated in them.
Now, she’s just lying.
She’s a democRAT. Lying speech is her native tongue.
I can’t wait to see McCarthy tear up the State of the Union address.
She was (maybe still is in some capacity) a professor at UVA law. Let that sink in for a bit.
Well she has learned her role as a psychopomp well from Obungo.
Big Sister Jackson Lee helping out the ailing, sex framed Matt Gaetz.
Its interesting to see how slewed democrats are, they see a GOPer who seems disgruntled and they smell blood in the water, and open up discussions to vote for Hakeem Jeffries...Nancy Pelosi was in the middle of that game.I saw her working the floor and waving her hands around after the fourteenth vote when the score was 212 Jeffries and 215 McArthy. The Dems wanted to peel away 4 RINOs in the worst way. Thats why the Republicans decided against an adjournment until Monday. The Dems might just have succeeded by Monday. Jackson Lee was right into it trying to sweet talk Gaetz. I thought she had her knee pads on there for a minute or two.

Which insane democrat was it who said, berfore Day 1, “we’re gonna impeach the emmer-effer?”
Jackson Lee is one of the dumbest people in Congress, and that is saying something.
She is not stupid, she just knows she can lie without consequences.
She was the one who introduced articles of impeachment against Trump.
Her party HAS sought to investigate, intimidate and deny benefits to the vast majority of Americans who are Trump supporters. She knows this full well and yet she continues to lie through her teeth just like her fellow pigs, goons and thugs in the Democrat party.
Quite frankly I would be embarrassed to have a skank like her as my "representative" in Congress
FR: Never Accept the Premise of Your Opponent’s Argument
It wouldn't be surprising if Rep. Jackson Lee is clueless that the states have never expressly constitutionally given the feds the specific power to provide desperate Democratic vote-buying benefits for the people.
"Congress is not empowered to tax for those purposes which are within the exclusive province of the States." —Justice John Marshall, Gibbons v. Ogden, 1824.
"From the accepted doctrine that the United States is a government of delegated powers, it follows that those not expressly granted, or reasonably to be implied from such as are conferred, are reserved to the states, or to the people. To forestall any suggestion to the contrary, the Tenth Amendment was adopted. The same proposition, otherwise stated, is that powers not granted are prohibited [emphasis added]." —United States v. Butler, 1936.
In fact, the congressional record shows that Rep. John Bingham, a constitutional lawmaker, had clarified that the delegates to the Constitutional Convention had left the care of the people to the states, not the federal government.
”Simply this, that the care of the property, the liberty, and the life of the citizen, under the solemn sanction of an oath imposed by your Constitution, is in the States and not in the federal government [emphases added]. I have sought to effect no change in that respect in the Constitution of the country.” —John Bingham, Congressional. Globe. 1866, page 1292 (see top half of third column)
Given post-FDR era unconstitutionally big federal government, ALL the states desperately need to effectively "secede" from the unconstitutionally big federal government by repealing the 16th (direct taxes), 17th (popular voting for federal senators) Amendments, also Section 1 of 20th Amendment (16A, 17A and 20A).
Pelosi: "We have to pass the bill so that you can find out what is in it." (non-FR; 6 sec.)
“Cherish, therefore, the spirit of our people, and keep alive their attention. If once they become inattentive to the public affairs, you and I, and Congress and Assemblies, judges and governors, shall all become wolves [emphasis added]. It seems to be the law of our general nature.” - Thomas Jefferson (Letter to Edward Carrington January 16, 1787)
Regarding corrupt federal government, patriots need to consider if Democrats have weaponized Section 1 of the FDR era (hint) 20th Amendment (20A) imo so that there is not enough time for due process of allegations of a state violating Section 2 of the 14th Amendment (14A), evidenced by Kari Lake lawsuit.
"14th Amendment, Section 2: Representatives shall be apportioned among the several States according to their respective numbers, counting the whole number of persons in each State, excluding Indians not taxed. But when the right to vote at any election for the choice of electors for President and Vice President of the United States, Representatives in Congress, the Executive and Judicial officers of a State, or the members of the Legislature thereof, is denied to any of the male inhabitants of such State, being twenty-one years of age, and citizens of the United States, or in any way abridged, except for participation in rebellion, or other crime, the basis of representation therein shall be reduced in the proportion which the number of such male citizens shall bear to the whole number of male citizens twenty-one years of age in such State." [Apportionment of Representatives]"
"20th Amendment, Section 1. The terms of the President and Vice President shall end at noon on the 20th day of January, and the terms of Senators and Representatives at noon on the 3d day of January, of the years in which such terms would have ended if this article had not been ratified; and the terms of their successors shall then begin."
In other words, given the catch-all "or in any way abridged" wording of Section 2 of 14A, Section 1 of 20A is arguably a violation of Section 2!
Restoring start of legislative and executive terms to March 4, for example, would give more court time for challenging alleged vote-counting fraud.
Consider that if the proposed amendment to repeal 16A, 17A, and Section 1 of 20A were strictly limited to that purpose, then relatively little, or ideally no discussion would be needed for ratification imo.
Additionally, “street fighter” Trump 47 and Congress need to establish an "Oath Court" based on Section 3 of the 14th Amendment (14A) that will have original jurisdiction in hearing allegations of abuse of government power by federal or state actors, especially alleged violations of Section 2 of 14A, Section 2 repeated below. (Maybe that's why Sections 2 & 3 are consecutively numbered?)
"14th Amendment, Section 3: No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any State, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any State legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any State, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof [emphases added]. But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability."
In fact, consider that the post-Civil War congressional Republicans who drafted Section 2 made it to discourage southern Democrats (my word) from rigging the ballot boxes that Democrats are now alleged to have done for 2020, and now 2022 elections!
"Because slavery (except as punishment for crime) had been abolished by the Thirteenth Amendment, the freed slaves would henceforth be given full weight for purposes of apportionment. This situation was a concern to the Republican leadership of Congress, who worried that it would increase the political power of the former slave states, even as such states continued to deny freed slaves the right to vote." —Apportionment of Representatives
What are “the benefits of this country” supposed to be? Are they numerated in The Constitution?
My wife’s daughter works for a major airline in Houston. Shelia Jackson Lee has a well-earned reputation of being a horrible and demanding person when she flies back and forth from Houston.
This is what you get when diversity and equity like affirmative action is implemented, a fat lazy black women with an attitude a big mouth and an empty head
That is how left wing universities launder public money to favored interests. I much doubt that Ted Cruz gets any money from UVA.
Pathological Liar.
