Even if he was born in Hawaii, he was born a British subject and a Kenyan, so he is not a natural born citizen.

Natural born citizens have ONE nationality.

That was the entire point of the clause, to keep foreigners out of the office of CIC.

Yeah, so smart he got out-smarted by Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi.

Yeah right.

That's what I like about you simpleton's trying to divide Trump's base in a useless attempt to push DeSantis.

Your false narratives always leave out salient and necessary context in order to push your false memes.

President Trump was, as you know, part of a three-part, power-sharing, organization of Government in this land, the Executive, the Legislative, and the Judicial. Each, in some way has the ability to control the actions of the other. During President Trump's term in office, he had to deal with the foot-dragging, Establishment, Globalist, Speaker of the House, and President of the Senate (McConnell). With respect to McConnell, he effectively controlled the quality and ability to get President Trump's nominees through the nomination process. With respect to the Speaker of the House, that position has a certain level of control over the Legislation the President can get to his desk. In both cases, they fought him "tooth and nail" with respect to his policy agenda, and yet, he was still able to get an amazing amount of the policy agenda across the plate: See the following for the exhaustive list:

His screen name is houserino.

It’s a clue.

Yeah, this one is not so subtle about being a Troll.

Trump was opposed by both parties, he was hobbled by the GOP almost as bad in the first two years as he was after Nancy took over.
It’s amazing how much he got done going through them, around them, whatever it took.

That’s not what I said.

Promulgating the liberal media’s “Trump versus DeSantis” narrative, when no such “versus” exists, is the troll factor.

Okay. I see your point. I have never seen it as trolling, but a matter of opinion. Hypothetical at that. Mid Terms on FR back in the 90’s, 2000’s were a circular firing squad, nobody got zotted into the ethers. A tougher lot then.

“...one of those people who writes with his thesaurus nearby.”

DeSantis himself has already confirmed that opinion to be the stone cold truth.

Agree 100 pct. Trump lost the Senate by making Georgia about him not the party. His endorsements this year... All him and his grudges. I’m sick and tired of hearing Trump and his sycophants here complaining about his appointments.. _____(fill in blank was the worst appointment I ever made (Sessions, Barr, Mattis, Esper, Tillotson, on and on. So what good is a CEO who can’t hire good people?

I voted for him. I thank god he best HRC, had 3 scotus judges, but come on folks.. It’s time for Trumpism without Trump. There were zero good alternatives in 2016,2020. Now we have DeSantis

I do agree that DeSantis should stay governor and then use the two years left of trumps term to campaign for 2028. I think that’s the perfect scenario for all involved. I want DeSantis to be my governor for the full 8 years. I’m selfish that way. Lol.

Reagan was also a Governor for 8 years before becoming POTUS, Trump had NONE of that training before becoming POTUS!! The country NEEDED an outsider and with being an outsider you have NO IDEA what the hell you are walking into!{ I have even been STUNNED at just how the ENTIRE government from the bottom up has been completely weaponized, say what you like Reagan didn’t have close to the absolute EVIL the government has become!! THIS government can NOT be fixed at the ballot box any longer ENTRENCHED bureaucrats are destroying this nation!!!

What's in it for DeSantis? The vice presidency hasn't been a pathway to the White House for 200 years.

Exactly. Worse, if Trump wins, the media and the left will unleash insanity that will make Trump’s first term seem tame by comparison. Whether the attacks are justified or not, DeSantis will be dragged down the rabbit hole with Trump.

It’s no skin off Trump’s ass as he won’t be running again, but DeSantis’ association would kill his chances in ‘28. Look at the nitwit Trump’s first term saddled us with…

Trump wouldn’t run against DeSantis if DeSantis wanted to run, IMHO.
If Trump wanted too, he might ‘endorse’ DeSantis if DeSantis wants it.

DT might want to team up but I doubt that DeSantis would. He knows he’s better off in Florida right now. so does DT. More face time the better, later on. DeSantis is younger, also. That’s a good thing!

Time will tell.

Donald Trump looks to have smooth sailing to the Republican presidential nomination in 2024 and the chance to erase the stink of losing to Joe Biden that he so covets

Poor writing. Dangling adjective clause "that he covets.". Does the author mean that Trump "covets" the stink" or "the chance?" I would asssociate the word "stink" with the cheating that went on rather than Trump being guilty of something. Better would be "the chance that he so covets to erase the memory of a demented Biden being sworn in as POTUS."

“What I don’t get is where all this Trump hatred is coming from......But he also did a lot of good....”

Excellent comments! Regarding where the hate comes from, it comes from two phenomena. First, the threats Trump posed to the agenda of the wicked and their loss of power, and second, their psychosis. Yes, psychosis! I firmly believe that those on the other side are absolutely delusional and literally have lost their minds from Trump’s triggers. Most of them were about half crazy to start and he simply nudged them over.

He absolutely did good! Frankly, it was a travesty that the election was stolen. But had it not been for his four years of logic and business sense we would be on the very verge of collapse today. Actually, we are almost there now at only a little over a year of Xiden and the dem congress.

In the last 18 months, there have been atrocious decisions that directly affect all of us — and the outlook is a big question mark (even considering IF there is a sweep in November).

My personal bottom line is I’m pulling for DeSantis, but would certainly take either. DeSantis so far has proven to be effective in governing and does so without all the drama. The drama was a feature of Trump that had both positive and negative consequences. It was a different time, but Reagan was also very effective and did so without all the drama. I am hoping we can get to that place again — if it is not too late.

A recycled Tedlim! Before you go again, what was your old sockpuppet name when you were banned in 2016?

Bye now.

Ron DeSantis and Tim Scott are the ticket to beat Trump

Offers no evidence to back up this statement, furthermore he later he has to admit Trump has 20 points on DeSantis in the most friendly poll to DeSantis.

Trump is beating Biden and destroying Harris, in Democrat polling."

Jefferson was the author of The Declaration of Independence and a very intelligent Founding Father. He was the leader who repeatedly argued for a small federal government that had limited power over the states. “A government that governs least, governs best.” He opposed others, led by Hamilton, who wanted a strong federal government, and for the most part, he got his way. His concern, that over time, the federal government would cipher power from the states has been proven to be justified. But, had it not been for Jefferson’s influence with Madison, the Constitution probably wouldn’t have placed limited on the federal government’s power (e.g. The Bill of Rights, especially the 10th Amendment.
