Netflix is preparing for yet another wave of layoffs as the streaming platform continues to grapple with plummeting stock values and tanking subscriber numbers.
The Los Gatos, California-based streaming giant, which employs 11,000 staffers, is expected to notify those impacted by layoffs at the end of the week, Variety first reported.
It comes on the heels of a previous downsizing at the company prompted by the company losing 70 percent of its stock value since the spring.

If you can OTA digital channels, MeTV and MeTV+, Laff, Antenna TV, Decades and BUZZR (for old game shows) are all good for old tv shows. Lots of Westerns; lots of stuff from the 1950s through the 1990s.

Exactly, you can’t escape it. Tubi has hundreds of LBVTGB (or whatever) movies. If you want to dump Netflix, then dump it because it is overpriced. My Netflix was prepaid through July but we will not be renewing at the rates they are at now.
Maybe show another documentary on the Obamas?

One thing I find amusing on Heartland is that no one breaks a sweat, most of the time all their clothes are usually clean despite being being out farming and ranching. None of them seem to sweat much either.

in 14 seasons I dont remember a tick bite issue except when Ty went to a foreign country. I guess ticks don’t live in all that grass in Canada...lol
In some ways Heartland reminds me of a Hallmark movie I saw with my wife previously.
It was about the typical romance stuff on a farm in Texas that looked very lush and green. There was only one other guy working there and he had a broken arm. The fashion plate lady painted a whole length of fence and did not get a drop on her nice clothes. Not a drop of sweat either.
TUBI is “free.”

I was paying $110/month for Direct TV.
Cancelled it when I moved in March and got internet hooked up. I now have more free TV choices than I could have dreamed possible. Old TV series, movies, you name it and all for $40/month.
Netflix had no choice in producing its own stuff since all the owners of the content are starting their own streaming.
And 100% of couples are mixed race.
