The news Monday that former NFL star Herschel Walker has registered to vote in Georgia is terrible news for Senate Republicans hoping to retake the majority next November.
Walker's move from Texas, where he has lived for decades, to Georgia preceded him filing papers Tuesday to run for the seat currently held by Sen. Raphael Warnock. And given Walker's high name ID -- primarily derived from his years of football stardom -- and the vocal support of former President Donald Trump for his candidacy, Walker immediately becomes the favorite for the GOP nomination.
And that is a MAJOR problem for Republicans.

What “multiple personality disorder?”
I’m not so sure about Walker. His history of multiple personality disorder is gonna be a big problem. Plus let’s be honest. His skill set does not make him a good senate candidate.
Yes, let’s be honest: Your real problem with Walker is that he would be a reliable MAGA Senator. We can’t have that.
Many GOP Senators have multiple personality disorders. They campaign as conservatives and govern as progressive-corportists.
Then you have cases of mental illness like Senator Shelby campaigning for progressive Democrat Doug Jones with Obamacare repeal in the balance. Jones won and repeal failed.
Herschel Walker would be a giant of the U.S. Senate compared to the pathetic swampers now there.
No idea but he's not going to support whoever Trump picks. He'll claim neutrality in public and work for another candidate behind the scenes.
A vote for Walker is a vote against McConnell.

The North Carolina Lt Governor is the leading candidate for Governor in 2024 and the KY Attorney General is also the leading candidate for 2023. We could have 5 Black GOP Governors within 2 years.
