President Biden on Tuesday called on Congress to ban assault weapons and high-capacity magazines and to close loopholes in the background check system after a gunman killed 10 people at a grocery store in Boulder, Colo.
“I don’t need to wait another minute let alone an hour to take common sense steps that will save lives in the future and to urge my colleagues in the House and Senate to act,” Biden said in remarks at the White House Tuesday afternoon.
Biden called on the Senate to “immediately pass” two House-passed bills that would expand background checks for firearm sales.
“This isn’t and should not be a partisan issue, this is an American issue. It will save lives,” Biden said.

True. But they will go after high cap magazines here too like they did last time.

Before the identity of the mass murderer was known, the Libs and the MSM were rushing to report the suspect was a “White Male”, they wanted a national ban on “White Supremacy”. But now that we know the shooter was Radical Muslim, Isis Supporter, and Trump Hater, why isn’t the same and Biden calling for a ban on ‘Radical Islam’ and Trump Haters??
But as usual, when their ‘White Suspect’ lie falls apart, they drop all attention on, and all criticism of, the shooter, and attack the gun instead.
Don’t forget that she has to fetch a Puddin Pop, too.
Since the federal court system now has well-established Amendment XIV Section 1 enforcement power, I believe that the federal court system should also be able to decide if and when government officers such as Biden/Schumer/Pelosi have been in Amendment XIV Section 3 “rebellion” against the Constitution of the United States.
Just pass an unconstitutional “gun control” bill and we’ll have you and your cohorts retired.

I saw that in an early article. But if I recall, that wasn’t verified. If the cops got there quick there a chance that’s who they saw.
My thing is, if this guy used one and as much as they want to get rid of them, we’d know it by now. They’d already know where he purchased it and that shop would probably be in flames and they’d be drawing up the lawsuit for the manufacturer.
The government imports millions foreign nationals, terrorists, illegal aliens etc, many from 3rd world countries who hold little value for human life and many of them hate everything about America.
This is why they want to disarm you.
The military is not going to fight the militia or vice versa but if the military doesn’t step up and do their duty pretty soon there are others who will. This is Casino Royal its now or never.

Maybe the police officer was weapons knowledgeable and didn’t want to incorrectly describe it as an assault weapon. Since I posted my question I have seen the shooters weapon described as a Ruger AR-556 which is an AR-15 variant. I haven’t as yet seen any info concerning how this guy who is Syrian born, a felon who committed violent crimes, trouble maker in school, etc, was able to get his hands on this gun. I think he has a brother who may bought it for him, but we shall see.
I haven’t seen where was was a convicted felon. I did see he had pled guilty to an assault charge. I am wondering if he bought this legally as well.
