At the height. At the start it was closer to 3.

That is based on something John Adams said. He may have been unduly pessimistic. But there were a lot of Tories/Loyalists in some districts which sometimes was the result of local animosities rather than their attitude towards King George III.
To: Any Fate But Submission
Well, the first one there was only abut 10% for it.
To: Any Fate But Submission
That is how many supported it. Far less actually took up arms.
Against the most powerful military in the world.

I learned 1/3 supported the revolution, 1/3 were loyalists, and 1/3 were indifferent.

That is an excellent point! By the way, the same can be said about the next war — the war of northern aggression on the south’s side. I don’t know the percent, but it was not great and probably less than 50%.

We can’t trust polling that took place in 2020 and you are trusting polling from 1776?

It was 3% actually willing to fight.
Hence, the “3%ers.”

Probably similar numbers if red states end up seceding from USA under the domination by the Left.

And then there was pissed off Benjamin Martin (The Patriot)

I’d trust polling from 1776 more than I would media polls in 2020. One tried to tell the truth while the other purposely lies.

Some people had aversion to the Crown due to religious reasons, some people were enthralled by the Enlightenment, some land owners did not like how much the Crown wanted from them, some people liked the Crown, some people put up with how much the crown wanted.
Point is where is your "France" who bankrolled the "1/3" American Revolutionaries for the most part and kept the centralized British government uneasy? Once the Revolutionaries gained a lot of ground, Spain and several other countries started financially pitching in as well to defeat the English Crown's hold on British North America.

the war of northern aggression on the south’s side
I’m wondering what the percentages will be when the next one finally gets here.

There aren’t many “Blue States”. There are RED States with majority Dem cities with populations and fraud, are able to assume control.
NY, Cali, Illinois, Nevada, Washington , Oregon, Colorado ..... all Red as can be except for a few cities

3% fought at the beginning - hence the organization known as “Three Percenters”. It’s the same organization and command structure as the original Minutemen. (Established 1776.)
I highly encourage everyone to read the organization’s home page and mission. There are many here that should consider joining.
I am in the process - it takes many months.
