The biggest October surprise of the 2020 elections came in the form of a laptop, reportedly belonging to Hunter Biden, discovered in a Delaware computer repair shop.
The device, and its damning contents, have grown into a campaign-killing scandal for Hunters father, Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden.
...
Unfortunately, not everyone in Washington, D.C., is itching to get to the bottom of this case.
Some, like Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, are actively working to suppress an investigation into the laptop allegedly belonging to Hunter Biden.
We write regarding press reports concerning materials allegedly describing activities by Hunter Biden, and found on a laptop at a Delaware repair shop, the New York Democrat and fellow Democratic Sen. Ron Wyden of Oregon wrote to FBI Director Christopher Ray.
We are deeply concerned, the Thursday letter continues, about the possibility that in response to these reports the Trump Administration will take actions before Election Day that would seek to damage the Democratic presidential candidate and undermine the rule of law.
The letter urges Wray to resist pressure from President Trump and other partisan actors to take any actions intended to benefit President Trump politically on the eve of the election. Succumbing to such pressure would deeply undermine our national security interests and the credibility of law enforcement, and could have devastating consequences for the resiliency of our democracy.

Marching orders...
*********************
Yep. And to acknowledge they got their DNC orders they promptly scheduled an interview with Hunters former business partner for this Friday. That resulted in cancelling the partners Senate testimony scheduled for this week. And it will certainly shut the partner up until way after the election.
Nobody asks to have the investigation of an innocent man delayed.
So, for Schumer, enforcing the rule of law, or investigating activities which look suspicious, “undermines the rule of law.” Up is down, down is up.
HYPOCRITE!
Already a week wasted. The Barr DOJ does not need any marching orders from Schumer to bury Biden corruption.
If Trump’s off-the-cuff comment to Comey - “try to go easy on Flynn” - was obstruction of justice, so is this.
Schumer must be involved in some way and that IS why he wants the FBI Director to ignore the growing Biden scandal.
Enforcing the law undermines the rule of law. War is peace. Some animals are more equal than others. We must work harder.
I suspect the contents of that laptop, if leads are followed to the end, will bury pols in BOTH parties. If that is what it takes, so be it. Time to get some integrity back in Washington.
He’s right of course. It would undermine the first rule of Federal law:
1. Thou shalt not investigate, question, report or allow people to post about the corrupt activities of the DC elite.
Is Schumer guilty of attempted obstruction of justice?

Wasn’t Obama supposed to campaign for The Big Guy this week?
First thing that crossed my mind too.
“Succumbing to such pressure would deeply undermine our” (attempts to undermine) “national security interests and the credibility of law enforcement, and could have devastating consequences for the resiliency of our democracy.
$10 that Chuckles is found somewhere on the laptop.
He did. A car drive-up rally. Looked like a couple hundred showed up...at the most. Was typical Obama punk on display.
Meant to add, was in Philly.
"not doing the investigation undermines the rule of law"
Call your elected! Don't let Pelosi and Schumer get away with this utter lawlessness...AGAIN.
