Well this covid virus is in part to blame....when you stop production and business as long as this has been going on everything gets backlogged. Add on the demand that’s out there now it’s going to happen for sure.
Looks good not bad price. When you get it please go somewhere and practice/use it. Get familiar with loading unloading and safety features. As part of that process run different shotshells thru it, slugs, different buckshot sizes, all the way to maybe BB shot. See how the gun handles the different loads, patterns at what ranges. All guns are different, but as part of the familiarizing process you can get some idea of the best ammo for your personal situation.

In all honesty, hear me out. I am seeing a large number of Black Women in their 40’s and 50’s buying their first handgun AND taking the free instruction classes afterword. I do not believe these are straw purchasers. I believe they are scared of a world without police.
Yesterday was the first day in 6 weeks we did not have a continuous line for the entire day.
We still had a line for parts of the day but there were breaks in it for a change.

Reasonably effective policing is why we have civilization here. This is not a homogenous society, and while most people are pretty decent and just wish to be left alone to live their lives, there’s a certain element of every group that wants to live off of everyone else. With police, those people still do damage, but not enough to end civilization. Without them...well, let’s just say that those who have lived in the fringe areas know what will happen, and that’s why they’re spending money that they probably don’t have much of on firearms. They are afraid, and that’s of concern to me.

Unfortunately, that’s correct.
I should have bought my extra 5.56 last year but couldn’t. Had a chance, earlier this spring. Right now, none at the places I’m looking at except way-overpriced 20 round boxes.
Oh I just found some. $500 for 1,000 rounds.
Yikes.
When people realize that it is government that is also criminal, we can expect such a result.

I’ve checked the websites of 6 online gun sellers in the past two days. They are completely sold out of ALL Glock handguns in ALL calibers.
Just recently went through the concealed handgun class here in NC. 3 of the eleven people in the class were black. One was a teacher in Charlotte. The others were a mid age couple late 30s early 40s.
"Assembled" a pile from stock... for a LOT cheaper..

I imagine at this point the Gun and ammo prices should be tied to an american election index. When you buy, in between elections while you can. Then shelve the ammo for when it can’t be bought because US Politics is volatile and the moment people think Democrats are about to win the prices go up.

I’m hoping, that it will be like toilet paper at Wal-Mart. Where the shelves were barren for months, literally, now there’s a pretty good supply of TP.
Who knows?
Guess we’re gonna find out. I’d like to purchase that and it will be far more than I ever need but just to get it done.
Maybe by early September? I’m checking most days but usually cannot purchase right now.
