Trump is right, the flag represents Southern identity; got nothing to do with race or white supremacy. That is a very recent slur in certain peoples’ goals to do away with American traditions, which you obviously have bought into. Multiculturalism and tolerance go out the window when face with unapproved thoughts.

He let the rebels go home to re-build their farms. He used the words, "with charity for all, and malice toward none." He wanted to save the Union, and wanted peace--which means respecting others' sacrifices, even if they were on the other side in a terrible strife, and recognizing them as fellow descendants of the Founding Fathers.

Well come visit some of the battlefields that surround my home- and visit the cemeteries that hold our dead- the dead that fought for their brothers and family and not to keep blacks enslaved- then You’d know that the confederate flag means more to some people than the American flag because it is the flag of OUR COUNTRY- old glory is the flag of OUR NATION.
