The guns are loaded and handy in the big city suburbs now.
We lived in a Detroit suburb during the 1960’s riots. Dad and the neighbor dad’s all kept their guns ready.
Time for open season and no bag limit... problem solved. Elbows and tennis shoes.
“Silent majority” — do you really think it is a true concept these days? The Dems have totally altered the makeup of the country the past 60 years. It isn’t the same country it once was.
Trump can’t clearly or simply order the MN National Guard to use deadly force to protect private or even state/city property in Minneapolis from being looted and burned, but he can sure do so when it comes to federal property.
Federal crime, Federal time (I hope).
Yet, WHERE is this militarized police force when we need it?

I agree that the demographics and culture of this country have irreversibly changed. There’s no going back to the America we once knew.

Very sad. I’m a federal employee and I often ask the federal protective officers that guard my building to shoo away the homeless screaming at me outside my window (San Francisco of course). And they do. They help provide safety to federal employees after the Oklahoma City bombing and potential threats to federal buildings.

Same during Rodney King riots, rioters didn’t even know who he was, all they saw was an opportunity to loot, riot, burn and create mayhem.

That said, I'm concerned with the militarization of local law enforcement.
I have no issue with law enforcement, without the folks who put their lives on the line for us every day, there would be total chaos.
My beef is the increasing use of militarized police for situations that do not call for it. Increased state surveillance, no knock warrants, asset seizures, increased mistaken intelligence leading to deadly raids on innocent peoples homes.
One such raid here in Houston is a perfect example of what I'm describing. 35 year HPD veteran along with his tactical unit raided a home, killing the husband, wife, dog and injured several officers with friendly fire.
Botched intelligence led this tactical unit to raid the wrong home. The family is dead, several officers injured, two officers heading to prison.

Yes, they will ... unfortunately it will be in the form of mail in ballots from Dem boiler room operations around the country.
This is so sad. So many people impacted with injury, loss of livelihood, new areas of urban blight making life harder for the very communities this is supposed to be in “aid” of.
The saddest point is the uselessness of these actions re the supposed problem. These riots set back the lot of the African American, set back the cohesiveness that has been built through POTUS honest desire to see all Americans prosper.
This is Lucifer striding through the land and marking it. This is the action of the Globalists & Leftists who would rather see America burn than lose their power. There is great sadness in my heart this morning. I think there is more to come.
I have faith POTUS and the MAGA team will prevail. I only hope I am here to see Soros & the rest of the Antifa organizers & supporters receive their just rewards.
Oakland has always been a hole. I used to work in that area as a non uniform police officer in GSA when the FPS was part of GSA long before it was moved to Homeland. I grieve for those officers whom I did not know. I do know the BPP was active there with h rapp brown, cleaver and a host of others supported by the libs in Berkeley during the anti war time including bums like the wife of ohaha supporter Ayers. These clowns are cowards hiding behind a mob. They need be exterminated not coddled. Unfortunately the other quislings in government will money bomb over these issues in an effort to calm the waters. We have long ago forgotten the notion of not one cent for tribute response.

That is true, but they won’t say it out loud, but even many Democrats want law and order when they are frightened enough. I have many liberal friends, who privately told me after 9/11 they were glad Bush was President. People want to be safe.
Trump needs to declare antifa and others terrorists and terrorist groups and put a bullseye on them. Fill up gitmo
