Two Federal Protective Service officers suffered gunshot wounds amid protests Friday night in Oakland, California, police said.
One of the officers died from his injury.
At least 7,500 protesters took to the streets of the city to demonstrate over the death of George Floyd, the Oakland Police Department told CNN.
Protesters caused damage across the city. There were reports of vandalism, theft of businesses, fires set and assaults on police officers, according to the police statement.
While arrests were made, police were unable to provide specifics.
I suppose that it is a given we are going to have to endure the ridiculous term protesters throughout this whole thing.

I began seeing the white SUV’s with a blue stripe across the front quarter panels. These SUV’s started showing up around the time Obama approved the distribution of excess/surplus military equipment to local law enforcement agencies across the nation.

My thoughts exactly. Methinks we’re seeing a replay of 1968 and the riots at the DemocRAT convention. The population is seeing first hand that the supporters of the left are the slime that we know they are.
They may insure that Trump is reelected, which will of course produce more riots. Then we can get on with finishing CW-II, constructing the guillotines, and allow real justice to be done to the just-us vermin.
