Fox News Poll: Record economy ratings, as half say Senate should remove Trump.

Voters give the economy its best ratings in nearly two decades in the latest Fox News Poll -- and credit President Trump.

And yet as his impeachment trial begins, Trump’s job approval holds steady, while half say the Senate should remove him from office.

The poll, released Sunday, finds 55 percent give the economy positive ratings (excellent or good). It’s been 19 years since this many felt as positively (59 percent in January 2001).

The Fox News polls are being run by democRAT operatives, pure and simple. Its weighted in favor of the RATS and in Nov. they will be proven to be way off base. There is much fake news going on at Fox.

while half say the Senate should remove him from office.

That tracks with the last governor election in WI.

Despite leading the nation in economic indicators - many people just did not vote and others voted for Evers just so they would not have to hear the incessant anti-walker articles and cable news rants.

Now Walker is gone, peace and quite reins again across the WI media and, naturally, the economic indicators are in steep decline while the Lt Governor proposes more draconian measures against industry, business and farmers. No one pays attention - Doyal years here we come!

Since polls can influence elections much more than the Russians or Chinese, then they should be regulated. As:deliberate distortion, deliberate weighting of samples but not recording that and so on.

Example: what if a pollster SAYS the sample is 34% GOP, 32% Dem, X% expected to vote and so on, when they know they are deliberately lying? Falsified records. Who can prove they are sampling ones they claim? Who is even watching them?

My poll say Trump will win 52% of vote and 68% of electoral votes. I just made that up. What if I ran a polling organization?

And I can say gas at the pump is 1% alcohol but it’s 18%. And the pills I sell are pure blood pressure medicine but they are really 70% talc and flour? Someone has to examine.

When I read all of these polling results, I am reminded of the crowd on Palm Sunday when Jesus entered Jerusalem waving palms and cheering him. Jesus was their hero. Later that day they were crying, “Crucify him!” as he is taken to where he was executed.

The general public, bless their heart, can change on a dime just on something they may have heard without any basis for truth - whoever they heard screaming over the TV screen last.

These idiots don’t understand that it is policy-making that creates those record economic ratings. Stupid people!

You have the crux of it. I have been a political and news nerd my whole life, but as hard as it is to understand and process poll results like these it does not invalidate the numbers. We live in a country that is influenced and swayed by know-nothing journalist and biased media/culture.

I look at the nation and realize that almost every American is doing much better under this President. Our nation is doing much better under this President. Our situation is far more optimistic than it was only three years ago.

They ignore all of this and generate faux offense because he tweets or they mimic the vitriol of the media or Hollywood to be accepted by their snowflake friends. This is the state of education in our nation today and it does not bode well for our future!

In summary, it is pretty futile to calmly debate or reason with them because they live their life by emotion - not logic.

With that being said, the polls were wrong going into the last election when all Trump really was were campaign promises and a big unknown. Trump has defied polling by the numbers and he has kept his promises so I like his chances in November - especially given the potential democrat opponent.

I lived for 20+ years in a small county in Kentucky and for one term I served as the Chairman of the county Republican Party. The D’s outnumbered us almost two to one and we didn’t win many elections. Well, one year I really learned about voters. We had an excellent candidate for one of those well paid courthouse positions. Because of a bad economy this man’s employer was downsizing and he was being forced into early retirement. In public life he had served as an unpaid mayor of a small town in the county for 29 years. He had given his life to serving the people in many ways and never on a salary. Now, the people had an opportunity to show their appreciation for a person everyone liked and respected. A man who had accomplished many things for them - including serving on the committee that brought the first large industry into the county providing jobs with good wages for the people. I refer to the company from which I draw my pension check. My man was a quiet, organized and very effective in all he did. I thought we had a winner. Plus my guy was an experienced accountant and the job he sought as was an auditor.

Against him ran a young man just out of college who had never held a job in his life - had never lifted his finger to serve the people - but he was also well liked as a person - a nice young man from a well respected family. His campaign slogan was, “I need a job.”

Guess who won. Right - the young man won. Why? Who knows? Those interviewed by the newspaper said they voted for him because he needed a job. The voters turned their backs on the one who had served them so well over many years. So much for the electorate

Who is being sampled is partially to blame for results which are inconsistent. But I believe the real problem is that the questions are not meant to give a true reflection of the nation’s opinions. One of the questions was obviously weighted toward an answer acceptable to the liberals running the poll.

Since it is hard to argue with the great economy, the second question about the impeachment of DJT is obviously stated in such a way to push the answers against President Trump.
