It’s never going to end- there will always be another plan.

Why a year after hearings with Mueller are they now saying he may have “lied”. Something’s up. They probably have a few people lined up to contradict what someone told them that they heard that the President said.

Another plant to be exposed.

You gotta give Trump credit — he is a fighter. For the longest time, we have had leaders who are waffle and parse their words for fear of litigation. This has allowed the enemy to pound away with little response in return all the while discrediting the person being attacked and repeating the lies over and over until they become truth. Democrats did this with Bush.

Trump has set a new standard for politicians. I hope that conservative and RINO republicans are paying attention. Fight back damn it! We expect it! We demand it!

“But I can’t believe they are stupid enough to send this to the Senate and spring the trap on themselves. “

That’s been my position from the onset of this circus.

I don’t believe there will be 218 votes to impeach once articles are actually introduced. However, Nancy will not be able to avoid a vote.

The Progressives will force one via discharge petition. And all the progressive organizations will be issuing public threats to Democrat house members. And the Whip will be twisting arms like never before.

And I STILL believe they won’t get the required 218.

Democrats are trying to distract Trump. My theories...

1. To cover up what is going on in Ukraine.
2. To prevent Trump from getting anything done legislatively. Make him a do-nothing president.
3. To discredit him so and reduce his chances of getting reelected in 2020.

“Democrats have to vote this down in the house.”

I agree. Thanks for the bullet points. I need help with details.

Pearls Before Swine :" “It’s a trap...”
"I’m not sure in which direction."

Of course its a trap !
The DemRATS inquiry has nothing to hang their hat on..,
so now they go full press.
what gives you the thought that written answers would do anything less.
The DemRATS are appealing to his ego, and recent "inquiry" testimony is without counsel !

Actually, I am hoping that it does move to the Senate... where Trump and his legal team can present evidence and cross examine witnesses and call witnesses and expose what was going on in Ukraine.

Democrats may not want it make it to the Senate because there is a very good chance that it won’t go well for them. So they may pull back at the last minute.

he should just tell them to GTH, period.
best if he does it on national TV
even better if he can do it at halftime at a major ball game
.. to get the largest possible audience

or else he can just take any Congressional demand letter and have a nice big toilet brought to the White House steps...
and invite all the media goons
and flush it!

let’s see the media goons and commies “Spin” THAT! ha ha

“He's a cat playing with mice. 😆“ Yes - this is a good idea. The Democrats’ case is so weak that they have completely given up trying to define what the President did that was impeachable, and are resorting to the weakest of weak arguments: “He will not let people close to him testify, therefore he must be hiding something, therefore he is guilty of something - we don’t know what - but something.” The beauty of “testifying in writing” (whatever that means) is that Is President Trump has the l best of both worlds: 1) he can appear to be cooperating, thus undermining their only remaining claim (that he is not cooperating), and 2) he can use this “testimony” tell the American people the truth in his own words about what he thinks of this whole thing. The beauty of it is that he would have done it anyway via Twitter, but now it won’t be just the President tweeting, it will be an official testimony that the Democrats demanded. They won’t have anywhere to go from there. I think Nancy Pelosi just walked into a trap.

And as soon as you open your mouth, you’ll be charged with perjury.

He no doubt know this, so there is some other game being played.

Excellent way to expose the corruption of Biden and the other criminals without being interrupted, graveled, or otherwise distracted by Schiffnanigans.

Mr President, answer yes or no, are you still extorting foreign leaders for your own personal political benefit? Please restrict your answer to either yes or no.
