Who cares what someone “thought” they heard.
Put Sondland under oath and hear it from him.
So far Sondland says NO QUID PRO QUO.

Trump was asking for investigations. That’s known already. A lot of you are missing the point that nothing that was overheard was anything new.

Actually, and by definition, it is unauthorized surveillance (eaves-dropping).

They’re hoping if they drag in more and more and more, the lie will magically turn into the truth.

I may have been there and heard it myself.

I heard it, too.

Loud. Carried a long distance.

Now you write a story about it on a blog and I will quote you. It will then be “clearly” sourced.

Tis is news how? So have 330 million people in the US seen the transcript of the call. Who cares if someone in the Ukraine heard what we read. It does not change the fact that there was no quid pro quo

What’s the big deal? Trump spoke about the investigations in his telephone call with Zelensky the day before. Neither the staffers or Sonland knew the content of the call between Trump and Zelensky.

If Trump was providing Sondland with a readoute and of the call before Sonland and Taylor’s meeting with Zelensky on July 26, the day afterwards, I don’t understand the problem. According to Taylor, the meeting went fine and Zelensky said he had a good call with Trump.

The best way forward now is to reveal what we have and begin indicting the bastards. Turn the whole narrative where it should be and hit the media too.

SO WHAT? WE HAVE A TRANSCRIPT. WHO GIVES A CRAP WHAT HE HEARD? WE KNOW WHAT TRUMP SAID.

Okay. I am returning to a normal font size now.

I am thinking that would create a solid counter point.

Mr State department official - were you aware that President Clinton signed and the Senate ratified a treaty with Ukraine that specificly allows each country to request assistance with “investigations”?

Mr State department official - if something is specificly allowed by treaty, which according to the Constiution is the law of the land, how can such action meet the test of high crimes?

Ok, so the President discussed the issue with the Ambassador.

There is nothing wrong with a duly-elected President engaging in normal diplomacy to identify admitted corruption by a former & would-be future US official.

You might say that’s in his job description.

I’m beginning to think that Trump cut into some ambassador’s gravy train.

For one thing, why the f*ck can’t these MSM F*cktards use, Kiev? Why that bothers me, I do not know, but it’s F*cking, Kiev. Anywho..

Can’t speak for how things are done in Ukraine, but while in Baghdad, the Ambassador would do a video conference call with the White House, that only a very small group of folks were allowed in. Hell, they didn’t even want anyone looking in the room, for crying out loud. But, I think it’s damn safe to assume that all those communications were done with some of the highest level encryption software on the planet, given the parties on the line and the topics of discussion.

Obvious none of these people have any respect for this President. If it were PIAPS or the last guy, I doubt they’d be taking a call, putting it on speakerphone, in public. I’m thinking there’d be some type of protocols, security measures, etc that they just admitted to violating. That part just seems a bit odd to me. I don’t know.

Our first phone in the 60’s was a party line, about 1964 I think. To think that you could survive without phone is unthinkable today.
