Ok, so the President discussed the issue with the Ambassador.
There is nothing wrong with a duly-elected President engaging in normal diplomacy to identify admitted corruption by a former & would-be future US official.
You might say that’s in his job description.
I’m beginning to think that Trump cut into some ambassador’s gravy train.
