I would take that a step further...maybe he doesn’t have a home to return to even if he is alive? If the people who are the ones kicking in doors have to pay the price themselves, they may not be so keen to kick in the doors in the first place. Oh sure, they’re brave and all, I mean, they put on their black outfits, cover their faces, arrive at 4am, shoot dogs and toss flash bangs into cribs pretty well, but they rarely have to eat their own mistakes.

I can't envision the Sheriff of Polk County Arkansas doing this either. I would guess that there are many county sheriffs' in his home state of Texas that would find this idea unconstitutional and non comply. This guy needs is a perfect example of why we need a Baker Act.

Very true, big city cops would do it in a heart beat, but if you live out in a rural area I think they would think twice about it.
The rural cops have too many personal relationships with people.
